



Nara Deer Park
Situated at the base of Mount Wakakusa, Nara Deer Park is a vast expanse that serves as a sanctuary for over 1200 deer of various breeds. This land is also considered a nurturing ground for Tenpyo culture, housing numerous well-preserved temples and shrines. Within the park, you'll find Todai-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and many other historical structures representing the city's glory through the centuries.


Todai-ji Temple (Eastern Great Temple)
The full name of this temple is 'Golden Light Illuminating the Supreme Pagoda for the Protection of the Nation' (Konko Myo Shitenno Gokokuji). Built as a means to pacify the nation through Buddhist teachings, it marks the first convergence of religious and political authority in Japan. Recognized by UNESCO as part of the 'Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara,' Todai-ji Temple is the focal point of Japan's Kegon sect of Buddhism.

To this day, the houses in Oshino Hakkai maintain the traditional architecture of ancient Japan. The village is renowned for its eight special ponds. These ponds, primarily composed of volcanic rock at their base, are nurtured by melting snowwater from the summit of Mount Fuji, shaped by geological processes.



Fuji Shibazakura Blossom Festival
The Fuji Shibazakura Blossom Festival unfolds beneath the majestic backdrop of Mount Fuji. This is where the landscape is adorned with a sea of 800,000 shibazakura flowers, also known as pink moss phlox. These five-petaled, pink-hued blossoms closely hug the ground, carpeting the elevated hills with a picturesque and dreamy scene. This floral species symbolizes the celebration of the petite yet robust vitality of life.


Minh Tri Shrine (Meiji-jingu)
Built in 1920 to commemorate the virtues of Emperor Minh Tri and Empress Shoken. Surrounded by lush greenery in the heart of Tokyo, it creates a serene space amidst the bustling city.


Tokyo Imperial Palace
