Immerse yourself in a small house nestled amidst lush green vegetable gardens in Thailand. Escape the bustling city, disconnect from electronic devices, and embrace a life in harmony with nature.
Discover the Sought-After Baan Rai I Arun Resort, Surrounded by Vibrant Greenery, a Popular Choice for Vietnamese Travelers
In recent days, images of a charming small house amidst lush green gardens have rapidly spread on social media, capturing the interest of Vietnamese readers. Within a few days, these captivating photos have garnered over 20,000 likes and shares. Many have bestowed names like 'the house from paradise' or 'the tiny house on the prairie' upon this dreamy abode.

In reality, these images were captured at the Baan Rai I Arun Resort in Amphoe Muang Ranong, Ranong, Thailand. Before gaining fame in Vietnam, this resort attracted attention in Thailand in late 2015 and was once listed among the top 5 eco-friendly resorts in the land of the golden pagoda.
Ranong Province in Central Thailand, located 570 km from Bangkok and with a population of less than 200,000, features unique natural landscapes with waterfalls, hot springs, and mangrove forests. Previously overlooked by tourists, Ranong, after the fame of Baan Rai I Arun Resort, promises to be a destination for those seeking to immerse themselves in nature and live a tranquil, relaxed life, reminiscent of a fairyland.

Baan, in Thai, means 'home,' Rai is 'farm,' I is 'mist,' and Arun is 'dawn.' Baan Rai I Arun translates to a house amidst a farm, where you can immerse yourself in the mist and marvel at the dawn. True to its name, visitors to this place will experience a space almost entirely separate from the outside world, staying in a wooden house flooded with light, overlooking lush green vegetable gardens.
Not because it's in a remote location, the house lacks any amenities. Stepping inside, guests feel served no less than in a well-invested resort. Everything is clean, organized, and charmingly small.

This is the brainchild of a young architect named Viroj Chimme. He decided to build this unique resort right in his hometown, realizing a long-held dream of living a simple life with his family, away from modern life, no TV, no Wi-Fi, a place to grow and water green vegetables, and wait for the day to harvest with the kind-hearted, hospitable Thai farmers. Gradually, the place became a homestay or a small resort.
Baan Rai I Arun only rents out 2 wooden houses, and most information about this place is in Thai. However, Vietnamese tourists can book rooms through the resort's Facebook page, where they regularly share and update the cool, green photos of Baan Rai I Arun every day.
