Tuy Phong district is approximately 80 km from Phan Thiết city. To visit Hòn Cau, visitors can either rent a boat from local fishermen or use the services of a travel company with glass-bottom boats (larger than a canoe but smaller than a fishing boat). If you wish to camp and stay overnight on the island, you need to pre-register with the Hòn Cau Island Management Board and the border guard.
