The Golden Scorpio eco-tourism area is nestled in Ap 3, Phuoc Khanh commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province. It's just a 1-hour motorcycle ride from Ho Chi Minh City to reach Golden Scorpio, making it a popular choice for those seeking immersion in the vast expanse of nature.
The name 'Golden Scorpio' stems from the abundance of golden scorpion flowers, especially during their blooming season. Here, besides marveling at the characteristic golden flowers spread throughout the tourism area, you can also immerse yourself in nature with various typical waterway activities.
The Golden Scorpio eco-tourism area is a small islet enveloped by water on all four sides, boasting a fairly spacious area. Moreover, it captivates visitors with the charming beauty of lush green nature, serving as an ideal destination for nature lovers and those who enjoy countryside exploration in Vietnam.
Spanning nearly 4 hectares with 200 elevated houses, cottages, this tourist area can accommodate over 2,000 visitors for leisure and entertainment. Additionally, numerous hammocks, seats are scattered along both sides of the river and fruit orchards.
The highlight of Golden Scorpion is the group activities for visitors. They will be provided with equipment for team-building games such as tug of war, sack race, blindfold, and duck foot table. Especially, for the first time, there is an off-road biking sport to explore the ecological tourist area here.
To reach Golden Scorpion Tourist Area, you can travel by car, bus, or motorcycle. When traveling in groups, most people choose motorcycles. You can refer to the route as follows: Start on National Highway 13 or 1A to Bien Hoa, drive more than 10km to Pham Thai Buong Street, where you will see signs directing to Golden Scorpion Ecotourism Area.
If you travel by bus, take route number 43 to Cat Lai Ferry, then take route 21 directly to the tourist area.
