- The palace's operating hours are quite flexible. From November to February, it opens from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From March to May, it extends to 6:00 PM. June to August, doors open from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. And September to October returns to the 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM timeframe.
- The palace operates every day of the week except Tuesdays.
- The changing of the guard ceremony is particularly fascinating. To witness it, visit the palace between 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM. The ceremony takes place in the last 15 minutes of each hour during this timeframe.
- If you want to rent a Hanbok, personal identification is required. Don't forget to bring your passport!
- Especially noteworthy is the free guided tour in English at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:30 PM. Additionally, there's a Vietnamese tour at 2:30 PM every Friday and Saturday.
