Time-Traveling (Rediscover your memories)
Similar to Facebook's 'On This Day' feature that daily reminds you of past photos and memories, Google Photos now introduces a similar function.
In the latest update, Google Photos will randomly highlight photos you captured a while ago, helping you reminisce about your memories without spending time searching through hundreds of photos in your library.
Open Google Photos and select Assistant in the bottom menu bar.
In this section, the system will suggest reliving your memories. For instance, if today you took a photo with your best friend, when you go to Assistant, the Rediscover your memories section will automatically display a list of photos you've taken together in the past.

Recent highlights
While 'On This Day' brings back memories from the distant past, 'Recent Highlights' reminds you of recent photos. The app selects and suggests the most beautiful photos of the month for you in the Assistant section.
Create Dynamic (GIF) Images from Videos
In the past, creating animated images required stitching multiple photos together. With the Video Animation feature, you can now Use Google Photos to create GIFs from videos in your library.
Automatic Image Rotation
Undoubtedly, everyone's photo library contains images with the wrong orientation. Instead of manually searching and rotating each photo, Google Photos simplifies this process.
Step 1: Open Assistant in Google Photos. The app scans the entire library, automatically detecting and listing incorrectly oriented photos in the Suggested Rotations section.
Step 2: In the Suggested Rotations section, click Review Suggestions to view photos that the app suggests rotating. You can click on each photo to rotate it according to your preference. Finally, press Save to apply the changes.
Here are four new Google Photos features you should know to make the most of these online storage tools, not only Google Photos or Google Drive but also other online storage products. Understanding software usage goes beyond storage methods, including How to share files on Google Drive as well as on Google Photos.
