Hot Off the Press: Updated Travel Policies in the Philippines as of 14/03/2022
The travel restrictions in the Philippines have officially ended! Starting from 10/02/2022, fully vaccinated international travelers can return to this island nation for leisure and relaxation. Beach enthusiasts can soon enjoy the white sands and azure waters of the Philippines. And not only that, you can now enter the Philippines without mandatory quarantine!

Who Can Enter the Philippines?

Foreign travelers, including Filipino citizens returning home, will be allowed to enter and stay in the Philippines for up to 30 days if they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Additionally, starting from 01/04/2022, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers will still be allowed to enter with the condition of presenting negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test results.
New Regulations Regarding Travel to the Philippines You Should Know
Below is the complete list of documents required when traveling to the Philippines:
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity upon entry to the Philippines.
- Valid vaccine certificate issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), VaxCertPH, or countries with reciprocal agreements with the Philippine government.
- Return flight ticket to Vietnam or onward ticket to another country (foreign travelers are allowed to stay in the Philippines for a maximum of 30 days).
- A negative PCR test certificate taken no more than 48 hours before departure or a negative Antigen test certificate taken no more than 24 hours before departure.
- Travel insurance with coverage for COVID-19 cases.
- Electronic Health Declaration Form One Health Pass with QR code.
How to Register for One Health Pass Health Declaration Form?

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the One Health Pass health declaration form has been a mandatory requirement for traveling to the Philippines. This electronic declaration form will provide international travelers with an electronic Health Declaration Certificate for easy entry into the airport. To self-register for the One Health Pass form, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Visit onehealthpass.com.ph
- Step 2: Enter your date of arrival in the Philippines, type of port of entry (sea port or airport), and type of entry (simply tick the box 'foreign national').
- Step 3: Fill in all the required information in the Health Declaration Registration section.
- Step 4: Save your QR code and present it upon entry.

Note the Following Restrictions When Traveling to the Philippines

You still need to wear a mask and practice social distancing in public and private areas. The stringency of COVID-19 regulations will vary depending on the COVID-19 alert level of each area (this level is updated every 15 days). At the time of writing, 39 regions including the National Capital Region of the Philippines are at alert level 1 with the following regulations:
- Relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions in indoor and outdoor areas (you no longer need to wear face masks and undergo health declarations).
- Public and private offices can resume full operations.
- Government agencies and offices can also resume full operations.
- The S-PaSS for inter-zonal travel will no longer be required.
