Bridge Pagoda
The Bridge Pagoda, also known as the Japanese Bridge, is believed to be constructed by Japanese merchants in Hoi An around the late 16th to early 17th centuries. It is one of the first three individually recognized national heritage sites in Hoi An.

Situated between Tran Phu and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai streets, Bridge Pagoda, located in the southwestern part of Hoi An's ancient town, spans a small canal that connects to the Hoai River.
In a special moment in 2006, the image of the Bridge Pagoda was imprinted on the 20,000 Vietnamese dong banknote, affirming and honoring the historical and cultural value of this heritage site. The uniqueness of the Bridge Pagoda has been an endless source of inspiration for poetry, photography, drawing in numerous Quang Nam tourists.

Chuc Thanh Temple
Chuc Thanh Temple, located in Cam Pho, Hoi An, Quang Nam province, is the birthplace of the Chuc Thanh Zen sect of the Lam Te Zen school. Approximately 30km from Da Nang to Hoi An via Non Nuoc road, as you approach Hoi An, look to the left for a straight road between the Hoi An Grand Theater and Dien High School. At the end of this road lies Chuc Thanh Temple.


The temple follows a triple-word model, blending Chinese and Vietnamese architecture. In the main hall dedicated to Tam The Buddha, Di Lac, 18 Arhats, a statue of Quan The Am Bodhisattva is placed in front of the courtyard. The temple also houses several towers of Master Minh Hai, Zen Master Thiet Tho (35th generation), An Bich (39th generation), Thien Qua, and more.
Co Lam Pagoda
Perched on Am Thong Hill in Ha Nha Hamlet, Dai Dong Commune, Dai Loc District, Co Lam Pagoda, with a history of about 250 years, is a beautiful and renowned temple frequently visited by travelers exploring Quang Nam.
Co Lam is rightfully known as the Ancestral Pagoda or simply the Ancestral Temple as it is the birthplace of the Lam Te Chuc Thanh Zen lineage. According to Venerable Thich Hanh Dat, the 42nd abbot of the temple, the anniversary of Co Lam Temple is celebrated annually on the death anniversary of the founding master, on the 27th of November in the lunar calendar.

After years of unification, in 1985, Co Lam Pagoda underwent renovations and, in 2008, received recognition as a 'Provincial-level Historical Monument.' In 2010, Venerable Thich Nhu Tho, the abbot at the time, successfully raised over 12 billion VND to completely renovate the temple, giving it the aesthetically pleasing architecture seen today.
Hai Tang Pagoda
Established in 1758, Hai Tang Pagoda is located in the northern part of Cù Lao Island. Its strategic Feng Shui position is ideal for the Buddha's residence and convenient for the locals to worship, celebrate saints, and make offerings to the Buddha.
The main hall of the pagoda is built with the system of columns and beams in the style of 'stacked false pillars,' consisting of three sections. Inside the main hall, there are three statues of the Three Buddhas, statues of the Three Saints: Quan Cong, Chau Xuong, and Luu Binh, worshipped on the right and left, and the statue of Earth Store Bodhisattva.


Behind the main hall, there is an altar dedicated to the Patriarch Dat Ma, holding a scroll of literature, in a seated and elderly posture. Elaborate horizontal lacquered boards and red couplets on both sides add solemnity to the pagoda. All statues inside the main hall are crafted from wood and adorned with gold leaf.
Van Duc Pagoda
Van Duc Pagoda is situated in Dong Na hamlet, Cam Ha commune, Hoi An city. The front of the pagoda faces southwest, overlooking the De Vong River. The main hall of the pagoda features an inscription in Han script and the Vietnamese translation by Zen master Thich Thanh Tu, which reads, 'Eight merits, three vehicles, abundant heart sutra.'

The pagoda venerates Quan Am Nam Hai, Buddha Di Lac in the pagoda courtyard, and statues of Great Scholar and Protector of the Dharma in the front yard. The main hall reveres the Buddha Thich Ca in the center, with the right wing honoring Bodhisattva Pho Hien and the left wing honoring Bodhisattva Van Thu.
Van Duc Pagoda frequently hosts significant ceremonies such as Buddha's Birthday (April 15), Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Day (June 19), Ullambana Festival (July 15), and Buddha's Enlightenment Day (December 12)... The pagoda was designated as a national historical site in 1991.
Vien Giac Pagoda
Situated at 34 Hung Vuong Street, Hoi An city, Vien Giac Pagoda follows the Northern Zen sect. During the major restoration in 1990, Vien Giac Pagoda was redesigned to its present architectural style, admired by many Quang Nam tourists today.


The main hall of the pagoda is adorned with simplicity yet maintains a solemn atmosphere. In the center stands the statue of Buddha Thich Ca meditating on a lotus pedestal, flanked by the statues of Bodhisattva Quan The Am and Bodhisattva Dia Tang. In front is the statue of Thich Ca as an infant.
Phap Bao Pagoda
Phap Bao Pagoda is located at 7 Hai Ba Trung Street, Hoi An city, belonging to the Northern Zen sect. The Buddha Hall inside the pagoda is solemnly adorned, featuring the preaching Buddha Thich Ca in the center, with statues of Buddha Amitabha and Buddha Di Lac placed in front. On the altar, there are statues of Bodhisattva Quan The Am and Bodhisattva Dai The Chi.

The name Phap Bao is the Dharma title of Master Minh Hai, the 34th generation of the Lam Te Chanh Tong Zen sect, who founded the pagoda. Situated in the heart of Hoi An's ancient town, Phap Bao Pagoda attracts numerous Buddhist followers and tourists for sightseeing, Buddha worship, and temple visits.
Long Tuyen Pagoda
Long Tuyen Pagoda is currently located in Thanh Ha ward, Hoi An city, affiliated with the Northern Zen sect, and is one of the renowned temples of the Lam Te Chuc Thanh Zen sect in Hoi An.
Covering an area of over 1500 square meters, Long Tuyen Pagoda's front faces southeast. Beyond the triple gate are two cemented pathways adorned with flower gardens on both sides. If the main hall is the center, to the right are the monks' quarters, the guest reception room, and the abbot's residence; to the left is the lecture hall.

The main hall features artistic architectural value, structured in a front hall-rear hall style with yin-yang tiled roofing. The round reinforced concrete pillars of the front hall are ornately decorated with dragon and floral patterns. The entrance to the main hall has six wooden doors in the 'upper and lower sections' structure.
Annually, the pagoda organizes significant religious events such as Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Day, Ullambana Festival, Buddha's Enlightenment Day... The pagoda also serves as a distinctive religious hub for the Lam Te Chuc Thanh sect, contributing to enriching the religious life of Hoi An.
