Most Widely Used Honkai: Star Rail Characters
In this version, we witness the dominance of top-tier healers Fu Xuan, Luocha, and Huohuo in the usage rankings. Meanwhile, the leading DPS characters in the game, Jingliu and Dan Heng Moonlight, also secure a spot in the top 10. The specific rankings from highest to lowest are as follows:
- Fu Xuan
- Bronya
- Luocha
- Jingliu
- Huohuo
- Dan Heng Moonlight
- Tingyun
- Silver Wolf
- Pela
- Seele

As you can see, Bronya remains the most trusted support character in Honkai: Star Rail, but Tingyun and Pela manage to make their way into the list despite being only 4-star characters. Seele experiences a significant drop, despite her late-game performance in floor 10, where she faces weaknesses against Quantum enemies due to the prevailing AOE-focused meta.

Now, let's explore the lineups that Honkai: Star Rail players prefer the most when diving into Chaos Abyss this season, courtesy of Mytour.
Upper Section
On the top half of floor 10, enemies vulnerable to Lightning and Quantum ailments persist, keeping Dan Heng Moonlight in the spotlight. The introduction of Topaz also sees Jing Yuan making a resurgence in Honkai: Star Rail player lineups.

- Dan Heng Moonlight, Tingyun, Yukong, Luocha/Huohuo/Fu Xuan: This team secures the top spot for a simple reason—Dan Heng Moonlight remains incredibly powerful, especially when buffed by Yukong and Tingyun. Most enemies with Quantum vulnerabilities are like 'flowers on silk.'
- Seele, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan, Tingyun: Despite the absence of Quantum vulnerabilities in the upper section of floor 10, this lineup can swiftly clear everything thanks to the ability to target weaknesses and reduce Silver Wolf's defenses.
- Jing Yuan, Asta, Tingyun, Fu Xuan: This lineup enables the Thunder Deity to unleash continuous attacks and deal massive Lightning damage to enemies, thanks to buffs from Asta and Tingyun. Fu Xuan's crowd control effects are also highly beneficial.
- Jing Yuan, Huohuo, Asta, Topaz: As previously shared by Mytour in the Topaz team building guide, Jing Yuan greatly benefits from the Debt Evidence debuff. Asta provides necessary speed for Jing Yuan, while Huohuo quickly dispels debuffs.
Lower Section
With enemies susceptible to Ice and Quantum ailments on the bottom half of floor 10, Jingliu and Seele take center stage. The most favored lineups, ranked from highest to lowest, are as follows:

- Jingliu, Bronya, Pela, Huohuo/Luocha/Fu Xuan: These Jingliu hypercarry lineups are extremely popular in the lower section, with variations in support characters. Note that Pela here is often a 4-star soul to buff additional damage for Jingliu.
- Seele, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan, Tingyun/Bronya: After contributing in the upper section, this lineup reappears in the lower section due to the abundance of enemies with Quantum vulnerabilities. Numerous small enemies make it easy for Seele to 'jump' between targets.
- Jingliu, Blade, Bronya, Luocha: A simple yet familiar second carry team where Blade and Jingliu synergize well, further buffed by Bronya. Luocha ensures the survival of this lineup effortlessly.
- Jingliu, Pela, Tingyun, Huohuo: Not much different from the first position lineup, except for the common replacement of the relatively rare Bronya with the popular Tingyun.
Conclusion
And those are the characters and lineups you can utilize to conquer the Chaos Abyss in the current version 1.5 of Honkai: Star Rail. Particularly, the frequent appearances of names like Tingyun, Yukong, Asta, and Pela signify that they are the best supports in the current game and worth investing in. Whether you're struggling with the challenges of the game or simply want more options when building your team, don't overlook these characters!
