The addition of new evolutionary forms has made this version much more intriguing.
1. Hisuian Qwilfish

Upon entering the Hisui region, Qwilfish loses its Water type, transforming into the dual type of Dark & Poison. It not only changes its color to match the Dark type but also gains a visually striking new evolution form for Legends Arceus enthusiasts.
After using the Strong Style Barb Barrage at least 20 times, Qwilfish evolves into Overqwil. Its appearance is peculiar, with sharp spikes surrounding a cosmic black hole. Despite controversy over its quirky design, Overqwil's only weakness is the Ground type, while gaining immunity to Psychic and resistance to four other types.
2. Hisuian Samurott

Unlike other versions in the Hisui region, Samurott in Hisui evolves more effortlessly. The new design adds the Dark type without a drastic change in appearance. The alterations are subtle but enough to please fans of this new version.
However, the addition of the Dark type makes Hisui Samurott more vulnerable, compared to the original version that had resistances to 5 types, now reduced to just 2. Nevertheless, Hisui Samurott's stats have been adjusted, with only the speed stat improved rather than a significant increase in overall strength.
3. Voltorb & Electrode

Voltorb & Electrode in the Hisui region are prime examples of locally designed Pokémon that are aesthetically pleasing and fit the game's theme. Despite being immune to Ground type moves due to their Grass/Electric combination, they are restricted by 4 other types. However, in terms of attack, this duo is intriguing with a variety of new moves to use.
4. Lilligant

Lilligant, the second Noble Pokémon introduced in Legends Arceus, gains the Fighting type. This addition elevates Lilligant's attack stats significantly, accompanied by a range of new skill moves.
Hisui's Lilligant, while simpler than the original version, is praised for its perfect and beautiful representation according to the storyline. To evolve Lilligant, players need Petilil and evolve it using a Sun Stone.
5. Decidueye

Hisui's Decidueye sparks controversy with its unique design and the addition of a new type. Nevertheless, it is appreciated for its alignment with classical Japanese culture - the central theme of Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Hisui's Decidueye now bears the dual types of Grass & Fighting, with adjustments to its attack and defense stats. Unfortunately, Hisui's version of Decidueye loses immunity to any type, making it more vulnerable.
