10. Monstrous - Ancient Idol Curse

The Curse of Ancient Statues is a thrilling zombie film infused with supernatural elements. It revolves around people lured by a curse concerning something forbidden to exist in the world - a Buddha statue possessed, foretelling impending disasters.

The story unfolds in Jinyang district, where archaeologists unexpectedly unearth a gigantic Buddha head statue. Legend has it that the statue has been sealed for centuries due to being haunted and cursed (Gwibul). However, the mayor decides to use the statue for tourism, attracting visitors from around the world.

Since the statue's appearance, the village experiences sudden black rain, dead fish, gloomy skies... The demonic statue seems to mesmerize people through its eyes. Therefore, anyone caught by its gaze goes insane and loses control.
