Discover the 'treasures' of a Western gentleman
It's known that the 'treasures' belong to Mr. Tran Huu Vinh in Tam Hiep commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province. Despite graduating with a degree in civil engineering and having a stable job, he chose to return and establish an ornamental bird farm. Vinh's mutant laughingthrush bird farm is one of the first and largest-scale farms in the Western region, covering an area of over 1,500 square meters.

Mr. Vinh reveals that mutant laughingthrush birds are extremely rare and precious species, very challenging to find in the wild. Initially, he invested over 600 million dong to purchase 20 pairs of breeding mutant laughingthrush birds, mainly birds with white or light yellow feathers, visually appealing and highly valuable.

According to Mr. Vinh, mutant laughingthrush birds have exceptionally beautiful and unique appearances, with melodious singing voices. There are multiple factors to assess laughingthrush birds such as mutant colors, posture, and singing competitions, but the most valuable factor is the color. The more beautiful and rare the color, the higher the bird's value.
Vinh further explains that the breeding cages for mutant laughingthrush birds are divided into 2 types. One cage is made of steel mesh to house adult birds, placed in a cool, well-ventilated, well-lit area; the cage includes feeding trays, a water basin for bird baths, and horizontal and vertical perches for the birds to perch on. The second cage is made of bricks, divided into compartments with a width of about 1.2m, length of 2.5m, and height of about 3m; the roof and door are made of steel mesh for ventilation; each of these cages contains a male and a female for breeding; in addition to tree branches for the birds to perch on, water basins, and feeding trays, Vinh also arranges pre-made bird nests... and everything is monitored by cameras.
