Where is Tri Nguyen Aquarium located?
Tri Nguyen Aquarium is located on Hon Mieu Island, in Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province. This facility was invested in and constructed by Khanh Hoa Tourism Company since 1997.
It resembles an ancient fossilized sailing ship, a unique and intriguing sight that captivates tourists at first glance. The Tri Nguyen vessel is divided into compartments, tunnels with varying sea water levels.
Attractions at Tri Nguyen Aquarium
Visiting Tri Nguyen Aquarium, tourists will feel as if they are wandering into the world of Neptune, traversing the depths of the ocean. The aquarium's fish tanks are divided into two types: outdoor and onboard. The tank areas range from 150 to 200m2, with the largest tank covering an expansive 3ha.
Outdoor Fish Pond
The outdoor pond is home to various fish species such as tuna, mackerel, tuna, stingrays... Within the rocky caves are squid, shrimp, and other seafood.
The pond is bordered by coral rock strips with water level equal to the sea, and there are roofing around for visitors to rest and fish as they please.
Onboard Pond
The ship consists of 4 decks, the lower deck submerged below sea level, the first deck selling souvenirs, the second deck housing a restaurant. The lower deck is divided into caves with numerous stalactites, containing 4 large fish tanks and several small fish tanks.
This is the habitat of hundreds of marine creatures with an environment closest to nature, such as Napoleon fish, Picasso fish, Japanese koi, and many species listed in the World and Vietnam Red Data Books.
