With the goal of inspiring creative thinking and discovering unique, beautiful, unusual, and highly practical ideas, Saigon Makeover has brought a fresh breeze to every street, alley, and soul of young travel enthusiasts in Saigon
On the evening of October 19th, the exhibition and award ceremony for the SAIGON Makeover competition took place at Saigon Ranger. Participants included the top 20 contestants, the competition's judging panel, sponsors, and young art enthusiasts. Traveltimes.vn – Vietnam Travel – Restaurant – Hotel information portal proudly accompanied the event as a media sponsor. The competition was organized by Global Shapers – Ho Chi Minh – a community of young leaders actively contributing to the development of society.
Through the submitted artworks, the familiar streets, parks, and corners of Saigon suddenly became romantic, unique, and artistically profound. The vivid and lively strokes of the authors have surprised, delighted, and sparked the desire for these scenes to become a reality. If so, surely not only those living in Saigon but also tourists visiting Saigon will find it fascinating.
During the exhibition, the organizer's head – Ms. Anh Thu, shared heartfelt emotions, difficulties, and memories throughout the competition, expressing gratitude to the authors and sponsors. Following that, representatives from the program, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Huy from Zero Station and Mr. Bon Tran from Synectics, shared industry experiences. At 8:30 PM, the Judging Panel announced 17 encouragement awards, 1 popular choice award, 1 runner-up, and 1 first prize.
