If you've worn out your feet in Dalat, why not switch it up and venture to Bao Loc – the charming little neighbor nestled right next to the city of love.
Discover the charm of Bao Loc through these 6 captivating destinations!
Tam Chau Tea Hill
Being hailed as the city of tea, Bao Loc boasts the largest area of tea cultivation in Lam Dong province, as well as in the Central Highlands and the Southern region. Here, predominantly Oolong tea is grown, with low bushes. The brand B'lao tea (the former name of Bao Loc) has become familiar to tea lovers for years. B'lao tea lacks the bitterness of Northern tea, has more astringency, a lingering sweetness, and an exquisite aroma.

Though lacking the long-standing history of Cau Dat Tea Hill (Dalat), Tam Chau Tea Hill still mesmerizes travelers. If possible, wake up early and come here when the morning mist still lingers, admire the dewdrops clinging to the leaves, stroll along the dirt paths around the lake, and savor a steaming cup of fragrant tea in hand.
Dam B’ri Waterfall
Located 18km from the city center of Bao Loc, with a height of nearly 57m and a width of 30m, Dam B’ri is the tallest and most majestic waterfall in Lam Dong province. From this height, the water cascades down in white frothy streams, creating a mystical layer of mist. On sunny days, visitors can often catch a stunning rainbow right at their feet.

At the foot of the waterfall, there is a small bridge connecting both banks, covered in year-round lush green moss, creating a romantically ancient atmosphere that leaves visitors in awe. Additionally, visiting Dam B’ri in late October, early November, offers the chance to admire vibrant pink flower bands in full bloom.
Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda
Situated about 21km south of Bao Loc city, Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda sits atop Hill 45, Village 4, Loc Thanh, Bao Lam, Lam Dong – renowned as a celestial paradise with its 'sky gates,' where you can gaze upon a vast expanse of space and immerse yourself in the land of mountains and rivers.

To reach Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda from Bao Loc city, follow Tran Phu Street to Dai Binh Intersection, then turn right. Here, you'll encounter the road to Loc Thanh commune (National Highway 55), passing through Loc Thanh Market, crossing Da Trang Bridge, continuing straight for a while, then turning right at the intersection and passing Niệt Ban Pagoda. Keep going straight, then turn left towards the cultural village (Village 4 – Loc Thanh Commune), drive about 2km through the cultural village (look for a small alley on the left), turn left uphill, then left again following the sign (Quan Chieu Duong) until you reach Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda.
Di Da Pagoda – Tam Hop Waterfall
Tam Hop Waterfall lies behind the premises of Di Da Pagoda, also known as Dang Dung Pagoda, in Dang Dung hamlet, Da Ton commune (Bao Loc). Di Da Pagoda is located 35km from the city center of Bao Loc, following the direction towards Dam B’ri waterfall, then turning right into Dia Tang Vuong Garden. The pagoda is about 5km away on a red dirt road. Di Da Pagoda features a unique architectural complex, harmoniously combining Buddhist, Cham, and Vietnamese architectural styles. Within the pagoda compound are wooden stilt houses of ethnic people, with intricately carved roof ridges and decorative statues of Buddhas inside.

The waterfall, named Tam Hop, is so called because it consists of 3 large water streams cascading from a height of 70m. Exploring the waterfall during the rainy season and early morning mist unveils the mystical wonders of nature.
Nam Phuong Lake
Less than 2km from the city center of Bao Loc, Nam Phuong Lake is a familiar destination for locals to picnic, play, or enjoy the romantic scenery. With an area of nearly 100ha, Nam Phuong Lake is divided into two parts: Nam Phuong I and Nam Phuong II, separated by a dam approximately 150m long.

Spacious and cool, this place stands out with its lush greenery. Surrounding Nam Phuong Lake are thriving greenery, and in the distance, you can see the misty mountains, clouds, all simple and rustic yet oddly captivating, making time seem to slow down.
Bat Nha Monastery
When mentioning Bao Loc, one cannot overlook Bat Nha Monastery. The name alone evokes an aura of serenity. As a spiritual tourism destination, Bat Nha exudes a tranquil atmosphere, with secluded shrines nestled in cool pine forests. Visitors can explore, participate in Buddhist rituals, and stay overnight in clean guesthouses. The water used in the monastery is sourced from forest streams, abundant and refreshingly cool throughout the year.
