1. Tò Vò Gateway
A mesmerizing tourist spot in Lý Sơn, the Tò Vò Gateway is a masterpiece crafted by nature over hundreds of millions of years. Fashioned from the molten flow of volcanic rocks and sea water, it stands as a majestic stone arch towering approximately 2.5m high.

Visitors to the Tò Vò Gateway will be treated to picturesque scenes reminiscent of a painted fishing village and majestic hills. Beyond its name, this place is also known as the “Heavenly Gateway” because as the twilight gradually descends, you might witness the breathtaking beauty of a sunset, resembling a masterpiece named after the dusk.

Situated right by the seaside, facing the ocean, Tò Vò Gateway offers a stunning view. Every time the sunset arrives, the sensation of each sunbeam gently touching the sea surface after a day of separation creates an indescribably poetic beauty.

When in Lý Sơn, don't miss the entrance to this paradise!
2.Thới Lới Mountain
The most enchanting view of Lý Sơn is perhaps best seen from above, atop Thới Lới Mountain. As the highest point in the central island district, it's a place to fulfill your desires. From this elevation, the entire island seems to be captured perfectly within your gaze.
The topography of Thới Lới Mountain is considered a majestic backdrop that any photographer would want to frame. The mountain resembles a robust 17-year-old boy breaking the horn of a mighty buffalo standing amidst land and sky. Next to him is the vast beauty of the ocean, its charm unearthly, gently nestled against the sturdy shoulders embraced by the misty wind.

At the summit of Thới Lới, whether at dawn or dusk, nature surrenders and unfolds its beauty for him and her to sit together, immersed in the serenity of the first and last rays of the day.
3. Fishing Cave
Fishing Cave, like many other landmarks in the island district with over 5 volcanic mouths of Lý Sơn, is formed from basalt. Subsequently, the erosion process of the sea breeze has shaped the cave's interior as it is today. The journey to Fishing Cave takes you through a white sandy beach, where you will witness the contrasting beauty in every step along the trail. Sitting atop Fishing Cave, the sea appears as a vast plane occasionally rippling in symphony, prompting one to wonder, 'From where do these waves arise?'

When in Lý Sơn, make sure not to miss the quest for Fishing Cave!

Lý Sơn, being an island district, naturally invites you to experience the sensation of immersing yourself in crystal-clear waters to the point of feeling the seabed. Lý Sơn is divided into two main islands, including Big Island (Ré Islet) and Little Island (An Bình island commune).
On Little Island, there are vast beaches stretching to the horizon, nestled beside immense rock formations such as Coconut Beach, Cave, Egg Beach, and Fairy Bath… The transparent blue water makes you imagine walking on a carpet made of translucent glass. Occasionally, on the sea surface, protrude blocks of rocks formed from sediment, a trace of the volcano.

If you fear the sun, you can sit on the rippling sandbanks behind the volcanic rocks, gaze into the vast expanse, and listen to the soothing sounds of the waves breaking on the shore. Tranquility resides there, nowhere far away.
Near the shore, locals often anchor small round boats and charming rowboats. You can sit on the boat to enjoy the swaying sensation with gentle waves on a peaceful morning in the island district.

Additionally, on Little Island, there is another marvel of nature called Pirate's Cave. Legend has it that this is where pirates hid their treasures after plundering. The cave is a peculiar rock formation, with a rough surface extending along the coastline. On the rocky outcrops covered in greenery of various climbing plants, gracefully intertwined with moss, behind them are tall coconut trees scattered under the white sandy shore. The seawater near the formation has an emerald hue, and beneath the water lies scattered black volcanic rocks.
This is considered the island of beginnings and endings. If the Heavenly Gateway Tò Vò is where the sun sets most beautifully, Blind Man's Island is the place where the sun stretches itself most brilliantly.
Blind Man's Island is an protrusion of Lý Sơn island district. This place features a lighthouse surrounded by the open sea, with large and small rocks interspersed, forming small gaps for the sea to playfully fill. As the sun slowly rises, the small pools act like reflective mirrors, illuminating the entire small island district, a welcoming sign for those returning from the sea. A new day joyfully begins.

In addition to Blind Man's Island, Big Island also boasts Fishing Cave. Located at the foot of Thới Lới Mountain, Fishing Cave is characterized by one side being a towering mountain, and the other side an expansive and mesmerizing sea. The terrain and structure of Fishing Cave have earned it the title of a cave with a 'divine melancholy' beauty.
This is the only Church in Lý Sơn, completed in 2014. The Church features architecture resembling a small palace with a facade comprising 3 Cross towers, and the rear adorned with a statue of Our Lady Mary. The church walls are built with light cream-colored bricks, with the lower part in greenish rock combined with a prominent red tiled roof. Inside, the space is tall, spacious, and elegant, in line with the European beauty of a Cathedral.
In the evening, the church bell resonates, calling the faithful to the Church, creating a lively atmosphere amidst the peaceful surroundings.
