On my first visit to this eatery, I was initially drawn by the unique ambiance. However, it was the flavors of the dishes that truly won me over. Exploring the restaurant's menu, I was pleasantly surprised by its richness and diversity. The majority of the menu showcases the most exquisite dishes from all three regions of the country. Additionally, there are renowned dishes from various other countries.
Exquisite and visually appealing dishes at Quê Nhà Cuisine
It's undeniable that the extensive menu can be overwhelming, with so many tantalizing dishes to choose from. Whether it's the bamboo tube-grilled beef, crispy-skinned roasted wild boar, or traditional village-style steamed chicken, there's an abundance of dishes I haven't had the chance to try yet. So, today, I'll be reviewing a few dishes I've had in my previous visits.

The food here is truly delicious, although the prices are a bit on the higher side. It's justified, considering the luxurious ambiance, attentive service, and the high-quality dishes. It might be a tad expensive, but it's definitely worth it.

On my first visit with two friends, after being away from my hometown for a while, the longing for my mom's home-cooked meals was overwhelming. As I perused the menu, I couldn't resist ordering a variety of dishes, from steamed chicken with lemongrass, crispy burnt rice with caramelized pork, bamboo tube-grilled beef, to bamboo shoot hotpot with wild boar tendons.

As I sat waiting for the dishes, my stomach couldn't help but growl in anticipation. When the staff brought the steamed chicken with lime leaves, the first sensation was the incredibly fragrant aroma. The chicken meat was firm and golden, tender and sweet, reminiscent of village-raised chicken. Furthermore, the staff expertly shredded it into bite-sized pieces.
Steamed Chicken with Fish Sauce
On the day of my visit, Quê Nhà Cuisine introduced a new dish - bamboo shoot hotpot with wild boar tendons, a curious name that piqued my interest. The pork tendons were lightly grilled to a golden hue, split into two portions. The lean portion was cooked similar to 'giả cầy,' a Northern Vietnamese dish, while the tendon part was simmered with bamboo shoots. The restaurant carefully selected fresh and young bamboo shoots, small and crisp with a slightly bitter taste. The enticing and unique flavor makes it a perfect dish for socializing or enjoying with hot rice.

Bamboo tube-grilled beef is a must-try when you visit Quê Nhà Cuisine. The beef is expertly sliced, marinated with a rich blend of spices and various ingredients like white sesame seeds, and peanuts. Grilling the meat inside bamboo tubes imparts a delightful aroma, blending the savory scent of the beef with the fragrant bamboo tubes.

It's the enticing and rustic dishes that always draw a bustling crowd to Quê Nhà Cuisine. Groups of friends gather for a feast, and families bring each other here for a delightful meal. Normally, Quê Nhà Cuisine is serene and peaceful, but there are occasions when the restaurant buzzes with lively chatter from enthusiastic diners enjoying their drinks.

While hundreds of eateries with distinct features from various regions of Asia, Europe, China, Korea, sprout like mushrooms, Quê Nhà Cuisine continues to capture the hearts of many diners. The dishes, infused with the soul of Vietnamese countryside, in the simple yet warm ambiance of the restaurant, evoke a sense of nostalgia.

Only those far from their hometown can truly feel the longing for their roots and the taste of their mother's cooking. Or on hot summer days, after a tiring day, sitting down for a drink in the refreshing space of the restaurant brings a sense of peace, if only for a moment.
