Exploring Bangkok: A 4-Day Itinerary Unveiling the Capital's Charm
Transportation and Accommodation
50% of your decision on whether your Bangkok trip is budget-friendly or expensive depends on the airfare and accommodation costs. Therefore, a suggestion is to book a 4-day, 3-night vacation package at the 4-star Baiyoke Sky Bangkok Hotel – one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok, including round-trip airfare starting from 3.7 million VND per person (if departing from Ho Chi Minh City) and 4 million VND per person (if departing from Hanoi) from Mytour.

Located right in the city center, close to major shopping and entertainment districts, the 4-star Baiyoke Sky Bangkok Hotel is one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok. It's an excellent stop to admire Bangkok from above, perfect for shopping enthusiasts and very convenient for exploring the capital of Thailand.

Each room of the hotel is equipped with modern, luxurious amenities to international standards to provide guests with comfort and convenience throughout their stay at the hotel.

Baiyoke Sky Hotel is a complex with many things to satisfy your needs from shopping, dining, resting, to entertainment... Floors 75, 76, 77 are buffet floors with countless dishes, and here you can also look out to observe the night scene of Bangkok, which is wonderful.

Floor 84 is a revolving floor serving dining but quite expensive compared to floors 75,76. Here you can sit and dine while the tower rotates for you to view 360-degree scenery. Viewing the scenery here will be a completely different experience that you get to try when in Bangkok.
Sample Itinerary:
Day 1:
If your flight stops at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you can take the Airport Rail Link train and get off at Ratchaprarop station (this station is closest to Baiyoke Sky Hotel). For flights stopping at Don Muang Airport, you can take bus number 29, the bus goes through Phaya Thai station then you get off, then walk to Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Alternatively, for more convenience, from Don Muang, you can take a taxi to Baiyoke Sky Hotel for around 200,000 VND.
After checking in and resting at the hotel, you can start exploring the Baiyoke Sky building and the shopping centers around the hotel such as Platinum, Shibuya 19, Central World, Siam Pragon, MBK, BigC,... In the evening, head up to floors 75 or 76 of Baiyoke Sky to enjoy the buffet and take in the panoramic view of Bangkok from above.

Day 2:
On this day, you can visit 3 attractions including: the Grand Palace of Thailand, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun, which are very close to each other and you can walk to visit them (especially Wat Arun, you only need to take a 5-minute ferry ride to visit, the ferry to Wat Arun is located inside Tha Tien market, next to Wat Pho).
The Grand Palace of Thailand was built in 1782 and has been the residence of the Thai king for 150 years. This place is the most famous tourist attraction in Bangkok with beautiful golden temples. When visiting the Royal Pantheon, tourists will admire the exquisite decorations and statues of Buddha that have appeared here for 600 years. Note that you are not allowed to wear short skirts and sleeveless shirts when entering here.

Wat Pho, also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon, is one of the must-visit destinations for first-time visitors to Bangkok. The highlight of visiting Wat Pho is the reclining Buddha statue, with a height of 15 meters and a length of 46 meters covered in gold. Besides, this place is also an ideal place for tourists to enjoy traditional Thai massage. Wat Pho is often known as the leading massage school in Thailand, so you will truly enjoy the feeling of comfort brought by skillful and professional hands.

Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is a temple located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. Visitors can easily recognize that this is the most magnificent temple in Bangkok, not only because it is located next to the river but also because its architecture is very different from other temples in Bangkok.

In the evening, take a stroll and have dinner at the night market on Khao San Road. Khao San Road night market is open 24/7. Food stalls are open from morning to serve tourists, but when the sun sets, music starts playing and the street becomes livelier until 11 PM.

Day 3:
In the morning, visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Chatuchak Market is a famous shopping spot for Thais and tourists. Thais from all over flock here to buy goods and sell them in local shops. It's estimated that around 200,000 people come here every weekend day, with 30% being tourists. Note that at Chatuchak, if you like something and find the price reasonable, buy it then because you'll hardly find the same shop again.

To get to the market, you can take the subway and buy a ticket to Chatuchak Park station, as when you exit the station, you'll see Chatuchak Market across the road. If you take the elevated train, go to Mochit station (the last station), go down the stairs, walk along Chatuchak Park for a few minutes, and you'll reach the market.
In the afternoon, from Chatuchak Market, take the subway (MRT) to Hua Lamphong station (Chinatown area) to visit Wat Traimit Temple. Wat Traimit, or the Golden Buddha Temple, is famous for its unique beauty and the huge solid gold Buddha statue. This giant gold Buddha statue is 3 meters tall and weighs 5.5 tons.

After exploring the temple, walk into Yaowarat Road. Yaowarat – Bangkok's Chinatown – is a food paradise. During the day, it's like any other normal street, but at night, it turns into a sea of flashing lights, with Chinese characters, inviting restaurants, and serving the best meals for hungry travelers.

Day 4:
On the last morning in Bangkok, you can visit Pratunam Market for shopping. Pratunam Market is very close to Baiyoke Sky Hotel, you can walk from the hotel to the market. Especially, around the market, there are many large shopping centers and famous fashion stores, so you can shop and eat to your heart's content here.
