In the morning in Bảo Lộc, my favorite thing is to wake up early, put on my headphones, and wander around every corner of the city. From personal experience, I think the morning is the best time to admire the sky, the earth, the trees, the grass, and the people waking up after a long night's rest. Watching everything come to life, seeing people exercising or simply exchanging morning greetings makes a new day exciting. Let's explore the city with the nickname 'the city of tea and silk' and see what interesting things it has compared to the famous 'sibling' Đà Lạt!
Romantic Rendezvous: Wind Hill
Located on Trần Phú street heading towards Đà Lạt city, Wind Hill, with its shape resembling a sock when viewed on the map, is a very popular spot among young people in Bảo Lộc today. This is a familiar dating spot, where you can enjoy the cool and pleasant atmosphere, gaze into the distance to see Mount Đại Bình – the famous mountain in this city of tea and silk. If you wake up early, you should try coming to Wind Hill to enjoy the moment when a new day begins with a sea of clouds covering the lush green forest, listening to the melodious bird songs, and inhaling the refreshing scent of grass. All of this creates a feeling of freedom and relaxation that's hard to describe!
At Hem coffee shop – 945 Trần Phú, walking into this alley will leave you amazed as you witness the contrast: on one side is the modern city, on the other is the peaceful countryside. Following the dirt path, you'll encounter a scene very reminiscent of Đà Lạt: an old wooden house nestled beside a pine forest.

Wind Hill is home to three cafes: House of Wind, Corner of Haste, and Sunset Chill. Among them, House of Wind and Corner of Haste share a wall with a direct view of Mount Đại Bình. If you love nostalgic vibes, House of Wind is the perfect choice. Occasionally, you can admire Mount Đại Bình, observe free-flying pigeons across the blue sky, and inhale the scent of early morning pine wood burning at the shop. It's advisable to bring breakfast if you don't want to start your morning with instant noodles at the café. The drink menu here is relatively simple with tea and coffee priced at around 50,000 VNĐ per item.

Visiting the neighbor, Corner of Haste, you'll find yourself a bit indecisive due to the diverse menu here, which includes about 70 types of drinks and 10 breakfast items (the signature dish here is skillet bread) averaging 40,000 VNĐ per item. The shop's decor style leans towards modern and gentle, giving you the feeling of visiting a café in Đà Lạt. If you love music, you can stop by the shop at 7:30 PM every Thursday to join the acoustic music night and singing session with like-minded friends.

Walking about 200m further, you'll come across Sunset Chill café. Although it doesn't have the advantage of being on the hilltop like the other two cafés, Sunset Chill has the convenience of transportation and often attracts tourists because it's near Alley 963 on Trần Phú street and has detailed signage. The menu here is quite diverse and offers many snacks for young people at an average price of 40,000 VNĐ per item. The space here is also quite spacious with many indoor and outdoor seating areas. During holidays, the café even changes its decorations according to themes, creating more virtual living corners for photo enthusiasts.

Cloud Hill Lộc Thành
How to Get There:
Cloud hunting is an exciting experience when traveling to highland areas, and cloud hunting in Bảo Lộc is no exception. For the past 2 years, Cloud Hill Lộc Thành has become a familiar spot not only for locals but also for tourists. Although only about 15km from the city center of Bảo Lộc, this location is known as the racetrack for silk drivers due to its challenging rocky and muddy roads. From my personal experience, overcoming this treacherous road to capture the vast sea of clouds, welcome the early morning sunlight, and inhale the fragrant scent of flowers and grass as dawn breaks is truly fascinating. Besides riding a motorbike by yourself, you can choose to camp at spots like Sơn Gia Trang, Up base camp... here to catch the early morning clouds.

Note:
Pagoda in Bảo Lộc
Embracing the essence of the land of tea, the pagodas here also allocate a portion of land to cultivate green tea within their premises. Pagodas in Bảo Lộc are open freely from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day of the week. Mostly situated on high hills, upon arrival, you will feel a sense of peace, tranquility, and temporarily set aside daily worries.
Tea Pagoda
Located about 8km from the city center, when setting foot in Tea Pagoda, you will be amazed by the sight of lush green tea trees planted next to Nam Phương Lake. Here, complimentary tea is served for visitors along with some souvenir items for purchase such as coffee, tea, honey…

Bát Nhã Monastery
Established in 1995, about 15km from the center of Bảo Lộc city, Bát Nhã Monastery attracts many visitors during Tet with the sight of golden phoenix trees in full bloom planted at the entrance to the main hall. And of course, in front of the monastery, there are also rows of green tea for tourists to take photos.

Di Đà Pagoda
Located on the way to Damb'ri waterfall, about 20km from the center of Bảo Lộc city, Di Đà Pagoda was built in 2005. You might mistake it for a pagoda in the Central Highlands, but the tea fields in front will remind you that this is unique to pagodas in Bảo Lộc. This is one of the few pagodas in Bảo Lộc that is built on a large scale compared to Trà Pagoda or Bát Nhã Monastery. Especially, behind the pagoda, there is a natural forest area and a very scenic waterfall. Remember to bring water when you go down to the waterfall because the path can be quite steep, similar to trekking trails.

Quán Âm Waterfall
Just 200km from Ho Chi Minh City, Bảo Lộc can be described as a tranquil and peaceful city, boasting a cool climate, convenient transportation routes, and romantic mountain-view cafes. Are you ready to pack your backpack and seek the serene charm of the city of tea and silk?
