How to get there: To reach Binh Bien, first, you need to travel from Hanoi to Lao Cai. You can choose to take a train or a sleeper bus. Upon reaching the town of Sapa, you will travel an additional 35km to reach the Ha Khau border gate. From Ha Khau, continue driving for about 2 more hours to reach your destination.
Important note: The weather at night in Binh Bien is very cold, so remember to bring warm jackets or sweaters.
- Chinese food tends to be spicy and oily, so if you're worried about getting hungry, remember to bring instant noodles or snacks.
- It's advisable to bring motion sickness medicine.
What to bring: Warm clothing, snacks, and motion sickness medication.
Additional tips: Consider bringing a portable charger for your electronic devices, as power outlets may be limited in some areas.
