Cấm Mountain, also known as 'Mr. Cấm Mountain' or 'Thiên Cấm Mountain, Thiên Cẩm Mountain', is located in An Hảo commune, Tịnh Biên district, with a height of 705m above sea level and a circumference of 28,600m. Particularly, Bồ Hong peak on Cấm Mountain is the highest peak in the Seven Mountains and also the highest mountain in the Mekong Delta.

Located 90km from Long Xuyên City and about 37km from Châu Đốc. If you're in Saigon, you can head to the Western Bus Station and catch a bus to Long Xuyên. Then, you can refer to the following route.

– From An Châu town, which is 7km from Long Xuyên City, follow provincial road 941 for about 45km westward to reach Tri Tôn town. After reaching the end of 3 tháng 2 street, turn right at Út My Co., Ltd. - Yamaha Dealer and continue for about 7km to reach Cấm Mountain.

You can conquer Cấm Mountain, An Giang at any time of the year, however, if you want to participate in the festivals here, it's best to visit around April and August. Because during this time, the festivals of Bà Chúa Xứ pilgrimage and the seven mountains buffalo racing take place, which are quite attractive.

Known as the first modern cable car in the Mekong Delta region. With 89 cabins, 16 cable towers, and 2 stations, the Cấm Mountain cable car can accommodate up to 2,000 passengers per hour. Travelers only need 15 minutes by cable car to reach the summit of Cấm Mountain.

Among the hills at Cấm Mountain, Vồ Bồ Hong is the tallest peak (716m). Its height has earned Cấm Mountain the title of the rooftop of the Mekong Delta. According to local legends, the mountain is named after a species of insect called Bồ Hong, abundant in this area. Atop Vồ, the statue of Ngọc Hoàng, a sacred deity, attracts numerous visitors for worship and admiration.

This lake situated on Cấm Mountain covers an area of 60,000 square meters and holds 300,000 cubic meters of water. Thủy Liêm Lake not only boasts romantic scenery but is also an ideal spot for visitors to release fish. Additionally, tourists can admire the unique and beautiful architecture of the Xá Lợi Buddha Tower on Thủy Liêm Lake.

Flowing along the mountain, Thanh Long Stream is a unique mineral water stream on Cấm Mountain. Visitors here can enjoy the pristine nature, immerse themselves in the cool stream water, and admire the local girls fetching water.
5. Vạn Linh Pagoda

Perched at an altitude of 550m, with Thủy Liên Lake in front and surrounded by fruit trees, the temple creates a serene atmosphere. Built in traditional Eastern architecture, the temple features three majestic towers placed at different positions in front of the main entrance. The Quan Âm Tower is in the middle, the tower of the Venerable Master Thích Thiện Hạ Quang is on the right, and the bell tower is on the left, featuring a giant bell weighing 1.2 tons.
6. Great Buddha Temple

Constructed in 1912 on a plot of land near the summit of Cấm Mountain. Inside the temple, there is a large Buddha statue, nearly 2m tall, hence the name Great Buddha Temple. The most remarkable feature of the temple is the Buddha Di Lặc statue placed on the top of Cấm Mountain. This statue weighs 600 tons and has been recognized by the Vietnam Record Center (Vietbooks) as the largest Di Lặc statue in Vietnam.
7. Lâm Viên Tourist Area
