The route to Dreamy Cherry Blossom Valley
Dreamy Cherry Blossom Valley is approximately 10km away from the center of Lac Duong
On my first exploration of this place, the path to the mountain top was still untouched, barely accommodating a small motorcycle passing through. Rolan shared: “During each harvest season, it's incredibly challenging, my dear. Motorcycles transport sacks of coffee beans from the summit down. Dry seasons are manageable, but during the rains, reaching the plantation becomes a muddy ordeal.” I tirelessly navigated, consulting locals along the way, driven by unwavering faith until I discovered this place.

Dreamy Dao Nguyen lies approximately 18 km north of central Da Lat, towards Lac Duong. Heading directly north from Da Lat, passing Xo Viet Nghe Tinh and Dan Kia, around 10 km later, you'll reach the L’Ang Biang intersection, situated in the heart of Lac Duong. From here, turn left onto May 19th Street. The road becomes increasingly rugged with numerous potholes and dust. Occasionally, in the early mornings, you might encounter locals transporting a motorcycle laden with roses, heading back towards the city.
Kim Dong Elementary School sits at the foot of the mountain, marking the beginning of the ascent to Dreamy Dao Nguyen.
From the L’Ang Biang intersection, continue for approximately 3 km until you reach Kim Dong Elementary School at the crossroads. From here, turn right to begin the ascent up the mountain. Passing Klong Ngor A Church, take a left at the intersection. Beyond the paved road, the path becomes increasingly challenging. Starting from this stretch, simply follow the narrow, steep, rocky road straight up to Dreamy Dao Nguyen. Experience suggests using a robust, manual motorcycle for the journey. If riding up proves difficult, there are now services available at the mountain's base or you can hire a jeep to take you closer to the summit.

Cherry blossom forests adorn the slopes of L’Ang Biang mountain, radiating in splendor.
Vibrant flowers bloom under the sunlight.
Each cherry blossom season lasts only about two weeks. Perhaps due to the colder climate, blossoms on the mountain peak bloom earlier than those in the city by about half a month, so be sure to time your visit correctly to admire the flowers blooming across the mountains. The best time to enjoy the blossoms is at sunrise, when the sun's rays illuminate the blooming flowers, creating a spectacle of radiant blooms amidst the vast forests. Even if you miss the peak blooming season, from the mountain peak, you can overlook the expansive Golden Stream Lake, an ideal spot for camping and sunset viewing.
