Day 3: The Lonely Tree, Strawberry Gardens, Dalat Market
Arguably the deepest impression and lingering memory of Dalat lies with the Lonely Tree at Suoi Vang Lake, located in Lac Duong District, Lam Dong Province. The scenery, or the journey to get there, leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
To reach this spot, head towards Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, pass through TL722, past Ankroet Water Dam until you reach Cu Lan Village. From here, it's best to ask locals for the exact turn to take onto a road leading up the hill. This route is challenging, steep, rocky, and requires skilled driving.

After over 2 hours of navigating, we finally set foot here, laid out a mat, and enjoyed lunch under the canopy of trees.
Ahead lies the vast expanse of water, while behind us stands a forest of towering pine trees, with white butterflies fluttering in flocks. With majestic pine trees amidst such surroundings, this campsite couldn't be more idyllic.
Upon returning to the city, take time to visit some strawberry gardens to experience the harvesting process and indulge in free farm-to-table produce right at the gardens.

Some notes on transportation, accommodation, and cuisine
Regarding transportation, you can rent a motorbike ranging from 90,000 to 120,000 VND for manual bikes and 150,000 VND for automatic ones.
When it comes to traveling to Dalat, there are plenty of accommodation options, but to minimize costs, consider homestays, which offer comfortable stays at very affordable prices. If traveling in a group, dormitories are also a decent option at only 100,000 VND per day.
Cuisine in Dalat may not stand out like other destinations, but most dishes are inexpensive and there are some must-try items such as chicken leaf hotpot, chicken heart rice paper, grilled rice paper, pork meatball sandwich, and Ba Toa beef hotpot...
