Ascending higher brings a unique sensation, excitement as the vehicle navigates through numerous perilous slopes, winding mountain passes. Pristine forests stretch endlessly, mesmerizing. Then, encountering narrow paths meandering amidst beautiful stands of pine and cajeput trees...

Amidst this jubilant realm, a verdant plateau emerges, adorned with oh-so-lush tea plantations – the sole tea hills of Quang.

Nestled beside the road traversing Ba commune, leading up to the central district of Dong Giang, the tea hill belonging to the state-owned Quyet Thang Agricultural Farm has long been a stopping point for many adventurous souls exploring the mountains and forests of Western Quang Nam.

It's hard to imagine amidst the harsh sun and wind of Quang's land, there exists such a stunning tea hill. From afar, the tea bushes rise like green waves, then gently cascade down like a soft strip of silk draped over the hills.

Unable to resist any longer, we parked our vehicle and briskly walked along the charming path deep into the tea plantation. Morning dew still clung to each crisp leaf, shimmering like crystal.

Plucking a tender tea bud, we savored its slightly astringent, earthy flavor, gradually giving way to sweetness on the palate. Then, closing our eyes and inhaling deeply, oh, the refreshing air, suddenly finding ourselves adrift amidst the gentle waves of tea, feeling weightless, as if all weariness had vanished.

In Quang Nam, this region enjoys a cool climate with ample rainfall, nurturing tea trees to flourish for decades. Though not stretching endlessly to the horizon like in the mountainous provinces of the North or Lam Dong, the Dong Giang tea hills still soften the hearts of even the most discerning travelers.

Through generations, the locals have regarded the tea hills as the lifeline of their community. It's not only the economic hub of the village but also intimately connected with the simple, authentic lives of the countryside folk.

The liveliest moments are when the sun rises high, laughter echoing across the hillside. People tending to the tea bushes, visitors arriving from afar. Playful youths chasing each other amidst the tea rows.

Even couples in love or soon-to-be-married pairs come to the tea hills for the most beautiful souvenir photos. They bring bustling excitement to the serene greenery, yet infuse this place with warmth and affection...

It's time to leave Dong Giang, but we linger a bit longer, savoring a bit of leisure. Stretching out on the soft grass amid the vast expanse of tea, we suddenly realize there are many, many more paths branching out from this hill to the next.
