Exploring Ganh Island - A Fascinating Fishing Village in Vung Tau
Covering a total area of 30 km² with three sides bordering rivers and one side facing the sea, the strategic position of Ganh Island significantly contributes to the maritime economy of Vung Tau. Additionally, Ganh Island features a network of forests and ponds, providing a substantial advantage in the tourism industry.

Previously, Ganh Island was a pristine area accessible only by boat. The island residents lived without electricity and clean water. In 2005, with the construction of Ganh Bridge, facilities on the island were supplemented and improved.

Ganh Bridge connects the island to National Highway 51, facilitating transportation. By 2011, wind power, invested by some businesses, brought hope for a brighter and more positive life to the 160 households, among which only 20% were economically well-off, residing on the island.
