In terms of overall appearance, Watch Buds bears a striking resemblance to its Huawei siblings, boasting a round watch face, intricate steel frame, and curved 3D glass.

However, due to the incorporation of earbuds, the watch is notably thick - nearly 15mm, with a sizable watch face - 47mm. As such, Huawei Watch Buds is best suited for those with at least medium-sized wrists. The total weight of the watch, including the strap, is also quite substantial, around 78g, making it less ideal for professional sports.

The watch strap is crafted from premium leather, featuring neat stitching and a comfortable feel.

On the right side of the watch, there is a single round button, albeit only pressable, not rotatable. This is somewhat regrettable as during sports activities, with sweaty hands, pressing and rotating for control would be more convenient than relying on touch controls.

Opening the watch face reveals the compact TW earbuds, ingeniously magnetically integrated into the watch, each weighing approximately 4g. However, their small size may require some time to get accustomed to the wearing sensation.

Despite being small and lightweight, when worn, you can rest assured that these earbuds are highly unlikely to fall off. What's special is that you can adjust the features and EQ of the earbuds directly on the watch without needing an app.

In terms of sound quality, the earbuds integrated into Huawei Watch Buds lean towards the bass range, suitable for energetic music genres and perhaps more suited for workout sessions rather than relaxing music listening. This makes sense as it's not always convenient to carry a phone while exercising, and listening to music directly through the watch is much more convenient. Typically, most people would listen to music through their phones or computers for easier control.

A rather interesting feature of the earbuds is the touch-sensitive control on the earbuds' rims. Due to the small design of the earbuds tucked snugly into the ears, direct manipulation on the earbuds can be challenging. Huawei has solved this with a unique solution; users simply need to touch the earbud rims to control functions such as answering/rejecting calls, pausing music, toggling noise cancellation, etc.

Furthermore, due to their small size, Huawei has also equipped them with a feature to ring the earbuds to make them easy to find when misplaced.

If you forget to close the lid after inserting the earbuds into the watch, the device will also vibrate after about 10 seconds to alert you.

Huawei states that the earbuds integrated into Huawei Watch Buds have a battery life of up to 4 hours of music playback with active noise cancellation turned off or 3 hours with noise cancellation on, a fairly decent battery life for such compact earbuds.

Regarding the watch battery life, Huawei mentions that it can be used for 3 days before needing to recharge.

Huawei Watch Buds also come with a full range of basic health features such as sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 measurement, stress level assessment, as well as support for various sports activities.

As for the price, Huawei Watch Buds have a listed price of 10.99 million dong. When pre-ordering, customers receive a direct discount of 1 million dong, plus an additional JBL GO 3 worth 1,090,000 dong (equivalent value of 500,000 deducted from the watch price). Therefore, the final price after deducting the pre-order incentives is only 9.49 million dong, a reasonable price for such a creative and incredibly interesting timepiece.
