Discovering the allure of Dam Mon Peninsula in Nha Trang.

Dam Mon Peninsula is a destination that can fulfill every traveler's desire when in Nha Trang: the most challenging, pristine, and beautiful. This place has all the natural conditions for eco-tourism development, such as climate, coastline, mountains, landscapes, ecological environment, seaports, and seafood.

Located in the area of Gom Peninsula, Dam Mon Peninsula has a natural area of 128 km², shielded by Gom and Lon Peninsula and a virgin forest area. The islands in Dam Mon include: Ong Island, Ong Co Beach, Xuân Đừng Beach, Lon Island, Red Island, and Sang Island.

The sea area of Dam Mon is still very pristine and clean. Enclosed by a system of small arc-shaped islands, the sea is calm and relatively wave-free. You can get here by taking the daily Saigon - Nha Trang bus with companies like Phuong Trang, Mai Linh, Tra Lan Vien. Then, from Nha Trang city, you can rent a motorbike for convenient transportation.

In Dam Mon, you'll not only be enchanted by the winding path embracing the cool blue sea but also enjoy the fresh air of pristine forests or explore the daily life in the Dam Mon fishing village.

Previously, to reach Dam Mon, travelers descended from Van Gia town for a day trip as there were no overnight accommodations. Since August 2002, a new 18.5 km road from the foot of Co Ma Pass to Dam Mon has been completed, facilitating the development of tourism in this area.

This new route traverses a coastal sandbar with gentle waves and clear blue water. The road extends to Dai Lanh, with its final stop being a small fishing village nestled in the bay, secluded and surrounded by coconut trees shading it green throughout the year.

Dam Mon is highly acclaimed as a tourist destination, featuring attractions like Dam Mon Village, Upper Dam Mon with its elevated sand hills offering distant sea views, and Xuân Đừng Village, home to the Đàng Hạ community, the only area near the coast with freshwater.

Dam Mon also boasts a typical coral ecosystem of Vietnam. Here, you can enjoy services like coral diving, beach bathing, and boat trips to Van Phong Bay. Tourism services here are not as developed as in other places, so travelers need to research and plan meticulously for their trip.
