Method 1:
Step 1: Start by opening the Zalo app ->Navigate to the conversation you want to review old messages in -> Click on the 3-dot icon.

Step 2: Next, select the Search Messages option with the magnifying glass icon ->Enter the keyword of the message content you want to review into the search box. If entered correctly, Zalo will deliver results and the keyword will be highlighted in yellow.

Step 1: On the main interface of the Zalo app -> Select the 4-square icon at the bottom right -> Further select the sawtooth icon.
Step 2: Next, locate and click on the Backup and Restore Messages -> Restore Messages line. As mentioned earlier, to recover old messages, you must have previously backed up your data.
Step 3: Press Restore Messages -> Wait for the restoration process to initiate. A notification will appear, and you select Continue. The message restoration progress will be displayed on the app immediately afterward.
Step 4: After successful restoration, the Zalo app will display the message Restoration Successful. Zalo will prompt you to choose whether to automatically back up messages periodically. Depending on your preference, you can select No or Agree.
