Bus: Purchase tickets at the Eastern Bus Station, Saigon. Prices range from 180,000 to 300,000 VND per ticket.
Train: There are various train schedules to Tuy Hoa station. You should check the timetable to choose a suitable time.
Plane: You can fly from Hanoi or Saigon to Tuy Hoa. Ticket prices range from 1-1.5 million VND. The airport is 10 km away from the city center, so you'll need to hire a motorbike taxi or taxi for further transportation.

Getting around Phu Yen
When visiting Phu Yen, travelers can explore by bus, taxi, or motorbike. However, to have control over time and destinations while saving costs, it's advisable to travel by motorbike. Rental prices range from 80,000 to 120,000 VND depending on the type of bike. When renting a motorbike, travelers may need to leave a deposit or provide an ID for security purposes.

Accommodation in Phu Yen
Tuy Hoa city isn't as touristy as Da Nang or Nha Trang, so room prices here are not expensive. Accommodations range from 150,000 to 300,000 VND per room depending on the type. It's recommended to book hotels in the city center along Hung Vuong, Nguyen Hue, Tran Hung Dao, Tran Phu, Doc Lap streets. From here, you can easily rent a motorbike or taxi to famous tourist spots such as Nhan Mountain, Phun Gorge, O Loan Lagoon, Dai Lanh Cape, Da Dia Reef, Vung Ro Bay, Xuan Dai Bay, and more.
Famous Attractions
Located along the Central Coast, Phu Yen with its famous landscapes such as Da Dia Reef, Vung Ro Bay, and lighthouses is ready to captivate any traveler.
Dai Lanh Cape: This is the easternmost point of the country, where the first sunrise on the mainland is greeted. Also known as Dien Cape, Dai Lanh Cape is a branch of the Truong Son range extending into the sea. From above, Dai Lanh Cape appears like a mountain reaching out to the sea. If you're in Phu Yen, don't miss the chance to witness the first rays of a new day.

Lighthouse: Built in 1890, Dai Lanh lighthouse is a gray cylindrical tower, standing 26.5m above ground level, 110m above sea level, and can emit signals up to 27 nautical miles away. Inside the tower is a spiral wooden staircase with 110 steps. This is a beautiful spot to catch the sunrise in Dai Lanh.
Xep Beach – Mon Beach: These are the two most famous beaches in Phu Yen, ideal for travelers to relax, enjoy entertainment, camp, swim, dive, and savor seafood specialties. Da Dia Reef: With a width of about 50m and a length of over 200m, this is one of the most beautiful landscapes of Phu Yen. From above, the Da Dia reef resembles a giant beehive with hexagonal and pentagonal blocks of rocks stacked evenly together. This is a popular tourist attraction that attracts many visitors from both domestic and international.

Vung Ro Bay: One of the famous beautiful bays in the Central Coast region. Located at the foot of Ca Pass, adjacent to Van Phong Bay (Khanh Hoa). This is where legendary vessels of the sea Ho Chi Minh Trail docked.

Nhan Tower: Located atop Nhan Mountain, Nhan Tower, also known as Bao Thap, is the first Cham tower illuminated every night in Vietnam. Nhan Tower is 22m high, built in the 12th century. Traditional Festivals in Phu Yen
O Loan Lagoon Boat Racing Festival takes place on the 7th day of the 1st lunar month in An Cu commune, Tuy An district. The festival aims to pray for calm seas and abundant seafood harvests for the locals.

Horse Racing Festival is held in An Xuan commune on the 6th day of the 1st lunar month. The festival serves as a reminder of the martial spirit of the region, showcasing the indomitable will and extraordinary strength of humans against the majestic nature.
Full Moon Poetry Night Festival is an occasion for poetry lovers in Phu Yen to gather. The venues include Dien Hong Flower Garden, Hai Phu Library, and Nhan Mountain Field, where the most romantic and poetic atmosphere is found. The festival is held on the full moon of the first lunar month every year.
Buffalo Stabbing Festival is a culturally rich activity of the Ba Na ethnic group, usually held from the tenth to the third lunar month. The festival lasts for three days and nights in Dong village, Phu Mo commune, Dong Xuan district.
