Despite being Vietnamese, it took an invitation from my British friend to discover the 160-dish buffet on the 18th floor of a 4-star hotel, introducing me to Sen Viet!
Sen Viet Buffet – Enjoy the entire city at your fingertips on the 18th floor with a breeze in the air
Known as a 4-star hotel with highly praised services, Sahul Hotel recently revealed a hidden gem on the 18th floor – a buffet restaurant. So, I decided to 'climb' (actually take the elevator!) 18 floors to experience the unique sensation of dining and snapping pictures suspended in the sky!

Sen Viet Buffet, located on the 18th floor of Sahul Hotel, a 4-star establishment
Overall, I wasn't disappointed with the 18th-floor view at Sen Viet Buffet. The only regret is sharing the buffet experience with a friend (although still a beautiful companion, just not mine), rather than a romantic partner!

The 18th-floor view is incredibly romantic
Honestly, for those who want a romantic date like a Korean drama golden hour on TV, choosing Sen Viet Buffet is not a bad idea. But be sure to opt for a seat by the window – allowing you both to enjoy the bustling city below... at your feet.
Looking down from the 18th floor, everything seems tiny and delicate, yet there's a sense of being a giant in the middle of the city!

Enchanting scenery, coupled with a panoramic 'wide view,' makes romantic dates here truly delightful!
The best view at Buffet Sen Viet is during the evening – when the entire city is immersed in the dazzling lights that extend far and wide, sparkling in the night. If you arrive a bit early, the faint purple sunset surrounding the floor is also worth capturing!

At night, the landscape seen from a restaurant window probably looks like this
“Fasting all day, compensating with a feast” with Sen Viet Buffet's 160 Asian-European dishes
When I stepped into Sen Viet Buffet, I instantly thought, 'Well, better skip lunch today to save room for all these tempting dishes!' There's an abundance of options, and each dish looks and tastes irresistible!

A quick glance, and the thought crossed my mind, 'Better skip lunch today!'

So many dishes, and each one is delightful!
Sen Viet Buffet stands out for its plentiful seafood, all fresh and generously sized. It's not the small, lifeless kind; rather, it's succulent and full of flavor. Being a 4-star hotel, the quality of ingredients leaves little room for complaints—crab, clams, shrimp, fish, squid... they're all there in abundance.

The seafood here is abundant and fresh.

The dishes are so tempting at first glance...
The second counter I really enjoy is probably the Japanese counter, especially the sashimi, which is incredibly fresh. Even though the wasabi isn't too spicy, those who enjoy a stronger flavor might want to add a bit more.

Sashimi is the counter that I particularly like.

Don't forget about other delightful appetizers!
I heard that Buffet Sen Viet changes its menu daily, so I wasn't sure if the dishes I had that day would still be there for others. However, the good thing is that there's a variety of European and Asian dishes. My Vietnamese friend and I explored all the fried, stir-fried, grilled, steamed, hotpot, noodle stations, eating until our stomachs were full, and still, there were numerous dishes we sadly had to skip!

The chicken here is incredibly delicious, everyone!

All the fried, grilled, and roasted dishes are extremely enticing.

Check out this European dish I captured for everyone to see!
If you have a family with small children, I highly recommend choosing Buffet Sen Viet because the dessert counter here is absolutely fantastic. Even adults (who still love sweets) like me are enchanted, not to mention young children!

Take a glance at the restaurant's dessert counter.

Anyone can be captivated by this counter.
Vietnamese cakes, Japanese pastries, French delicacies, Italian treats, sweet soup, caramel, yogurt, ice cream, fruits,... are meticulously presented by Buffet Sen Viet, looking so beautiful that it's hard to eat, but once you start, it's hard to... stop!

Looks truly artistic, doesn't it?
After dining at Buffet Sen Viet, I've identified the 4 most suitable groups to visit:
1. Couples seeking a romantic date
2. Families, especially those with teens or children
3. Groups planning parties, birthdays, gatherings,... (I also discovered that Buffet Sen Viet offers birthday cake gifts, and there's a karaoke discount for group reservations)
4. International diners really enjoy eating here. Perhaps some are hotel guests looking for a convenient place to dine, and others are not staying at Sahul Hotel but come here for quality buffet and professional English-speaking service.
Sharing with you some more extremely useful information if you plan to dine at Buffet Sen Viet:
