When passing through the scenic Ngũ Hành Sơn complex, travelers should not only visit the temples but also discover the breathtaking natural caves. Among them, the trio: Huyền Không Cave, Huyền Vi Cave, and Quan Âm Cave have become unique attractions, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

Lost in the Fairyland of Huyền Không Cave
Located in the Ngũ Hành Sơn heritage complex at the Da Nang tourist destination, Huyền Không Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Da Nang. Huyền Không Cave features a celestial tunnel structure with a round vaulted roof containing five openings, allowing natural light to flood the cave, creating a magical and mystical atmosphere.
Discovering the Marvels of Huyền Không Cave

With a circumference of about 25 meters, Huyền Không Cave is adorned with diverse decorations. At the entrance, statues of Virtue and Vice serve as reminders for people to choose the righteous path. In the center, a statue of Buddha Shakyamuni stands, and below, an altar is dedicated to Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha. The cave also houses shrines for Lady Ngọc Phi and Lady Lồi Phi on the left and the venerable Trang Nghiêm Pagoda on the right, built in 1825.
Exploring the Tranquil Beauty of Huyền Vi Cave
Nestled behind Linh Son Pagoda on Hoa Son Mountain, Huyền Vi Cave is a hidden gem often overlooked by visitors. It emanates a quiet and serene beauty, providing a peaceful retreat for Buddhist devotees. Unlike the vastness of Thuy Son Mountain and Huyền Không Cave, Huyền Vi Cave on Hoa Son offers a serene haven for those seeking spiritual solace.
To enter the cave, visitors must pass through a 3m-long tunnel, leading them to the central area of the cave with a width of about 2m and a length of approximately 10m. Inside the cave, numerous small passages can be found, revealing various stunning and peculiar rock formations on the cave walls depicting fascinating and unusual figures.

Similar to other caves, Huyen Vi Cave in Danang tourism is adorned with numerous large and small Buddha statues, mostly crafted from natural stone blocks combined with the skilled hands of artisans, giving the statues a remarkably natural appearance.
Notably, there is a small well inside the cave that, when the wind blows in, creates a melodious sound in the well, resembling the music of nature. Additionally, visitors exploring the innermost part of the cave will discover a unique earthen drum. Striking it with a hard object produces a deep and interesting resonant sound.
Admire the breathtaking scenery inside Quan Am Cave
Located right next to the Quan The Am Pagoda – one of the famous tourist destinations in Da Nang, the Quan Am Cave is one of the scenic beauties that visitors should not miss when having the opportunity to visit the Marble Mountains. From the Quan Am Pagoda, visitors follow a small path about 5m long to reach the cave entrance. Stepping inside, visitors can't help but be amazed by the breathtaking natural scenery within the cave.

At this tourist spot, visitors can admire a statue of Bodhisattva Quan The Am made of natural stone, towering like a real person, adorned with a sparkling gown crystallized from a rare and precious type of natural gemstone. The statue holds a calm jug, with eyes gazing towards the end of the cave. Beneath the statue's feet is a natural dragon shape, in harmony with the legend of Quan Am Nam Hai, riding on a dragon, overcoming turbulent waves, fearlessly rescuing those in peril.
Moreover, the cave is filled with various stalactites in mysterious shapes, especially featuring a stone bell named Thach Chung – a large stalactite resembling a cylindrical column about 5m tall. When struck, the bell produces a clear and resonant sound. Particularly, visitors who come to the cave in the lunar February will have the opportunity to participate in the Quan The Am Bodhisattva Festival held here.

If you have the chance to visit Da Nang tourist destinations, make sure to explore the Marble Mountains scenic area and, in particular, don't forget to spend some time discovering three famous caves: Huyen Khong Cave, Huyen Vi Cave, and Quan Am Cave, to admire the masterpieces that nature has bestowed upon this beautiful coastal city.
