Here's my review of the BMW s1000xr HP Edition 2019. I purchased it for 620t. Hope this review helps those interested in buying. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments section!
General Information about the BMW s1000xr HP Edition 2019
Sharing the same engine as the s1000rr, finely tuned for sport touring, this bike utilizes BMW's high-performance inline-4 cylinder engine.
With a weight comparable to other typical sport bikes, BMW's ride feel and luxury are unmatched.
Things I Love
I've ridden through a plethora of bike models including Ducati 795, 796, 899, Honda CB650R, Kawasaki Z1000R, Yamaha FZ1, MT-09. However, when I started feeling weary of naked and sport bikes, I craved the adventure experience. It's accurate to label it as a sport adventure bike as well.
Advantages: A sky full of technology and options.

Things I Dislike
BMW models still rely on halogen lights. However, I've replaced the entire headlight assembly with plug-and-play full LED lights. They're more beautiful and brighter.Another concern is fuel efficiency. When compared to other bike models, BMWs typically consume about 1 liter for 10-12 km. Some might see this as a drawback, but in reality, it's not significant because a full tank can last over 200 km. After riding for a while, refueling and resting are manageable.
To Buy or Not to Buy?
If you're tired of pure naked bikes or afraid of the strain from riding a sportbike, and if you love technology, there's no reason not to buy. I bought it because it's stunningly beautiful and I didn't fancy the boxer engine and shaft drive of the GS. Everyone should try sport touring; you'll discover its merits. The Multistrada is also a decent choice.
