My Khe Beach, a Beautiful Destination, Where the Friendly and Lovely People Create Unforgettable Memories while Traveling in Da Nang.
Exploring the Charms of Da Nang - Hoi An: A First Encounter That Feels Endearing!
Day 1:
To start our Da Nang exploration, we enjoyed a bowl of Quang noodle and a serving of budget-friendly beef vermicelli for just 50,000 VND. The food here is delicious, affordable, and easy to find, so there's no reason not to fuel up with this tasty specialty. After eating, we had fun at the peaceful and pristine Da Nang beach, with tall coconut trees swaying gently along the coastline.

We then headed to the city center of Da Nang, strolling through the streets until 2 p.m. Following the advice of a kind fellow passenger we met on the bus, we found a charming little French-vintage-designed eatery. The menu offered a variety of European dishes at reasonable prices.

In the evening, we drove around the illuminated streets, experiencing the vibrant nightlife of Da Nang. If during the day Da Nang is peaceful and quiet, at night it transforms into a dynamic and bustling city. The small roadside bars with live music were lively and bustling. The bridges were adorned with dazzling colors. We toured around each bridge and some major streets like 2/9 Street, Tran Phu Street, Tran Van Linh Street... enjoying the exquisite banh xeo (Vietnamese pancake) at Mrs. Duong's stall.

Day 2:
Yearning to immerse ourselves in the antique and romantic European scenery, we spent the entire Day 2 exploring Ba Na Hills. If it's your first time here, opt for a package tour as Ba Na Hills is about 30km from the city center. The tour will include hotel pick-up, ticket purchasing procedures, and buffet meals arranged in advance, allowing you to explore freely without much hassle at reasonable prices. Especially, the local guides will provide detailed itineraries to ensure you won't miss any spot.

Arriving at Ba Na Hills, you'll feel like stepping into a miniature France with spacious churches, European-style architecture, and modern design. You can't miss St. Denis Church with its antique charm and the magnificent palaces atop Ba Na Hills like Chenonceau Castle... offering you a fairyland experience while traveling in Da Nang.
Day 3:
When visiting Da Nang, don't miss the chance to experience Hoi An when the lantern-lit streets offer fascinating delights, enchanting countless travelers. We rented a motorbike and followed the coastal road to Hoi An, which took about 30 minutes. Hoi An on weekends is bustling and lively. Here, we savored some famous dishes like grilled pork roll, cassava cake, and mót (a kind of dessert soup).

In the evening, Hoi An adorns itself with vibrant lanterns, becoming an essential part of its charm. Take a moment to slow down and appreciate the serene, ancient beauty of Hoi An.

Boating on the Hoai River and releasing lanterns has become an indispensable activity when visiting Hoi An at night. Sitting on a small boat, gently drifting on the water, enjoying folk songs will soothe the soul and bring tranquility. Releasing lanterns carries hopes, beliefs in luck, and health. The decorated lanterns, along with shimmering lights, create a mystical atmosphere on the poetic Hoai River.
