It's been quite a while since I've come across a smartphone with a Palm-size design, fitting snugly in the palm of your hand. If you're on the hunt for a compact device to serve as your handy sidekick, the Doogee S Mini is the perfect answer.
Measuring at 133 x 60 x 13.5 mm and weighing in at 155g, the Doogee S Mini doesn't take up much space in your bag, backpack, or pocket. Incredibly convenient to carry around, it thrives in tough environments while still boasting a full range of features, excellent photo capabilities, strong performance, and a robust battery all within arm's reach.
Comparing it with other devices like the 13 Pro, you'll notice it's just slightly larger than your average smartphone.

On the left side of the DOOGEE S Mini, you'll find the SIM card slot and SD card slot, function button. You can customize this button based on your needs, whether it's for taking photos or initiating an SOS call.

Moving to the right side of the DOOGEE S Mini, you'll discover the volume up/down buttons, power button, and fingerprint sensor. At the bottom, there's the USB-C charging port.

Turning to the back of the device, you'll immediately notice the dual camera setup with the main 50MP sensor, f/1.8 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera, all housed within a rectangular module with a small monochrome secondary screen for displaying battery level, date, and time. It's quite an intriguing sight.

Turning to the front, the DOOGEE S Mini boasts a 4.5-inch display with an 8MP selfie camera. The screen borders of the device are noticeably thick, giving it a distinct appearance.

The 4.5-inch size is incredibly compact in today's context; a single finger can comfortably navigate the entire screen.
In terms of display capabilities, the device utilizes a TFT panel with a resolution of 480 X 1,170 pixels, and a pixel density of 281 PPI. The color quality is adequate for activities like watching YouTube or TikTok but falls short of delivering vibrant visuals.

As for the specifications, the DOOGEE S Mini is powered by the Helio G99 chip, 8GB RAM (expandable to 15GB), 256GB internal storage, and scores 413,000 points on Antutu. The CPU achieves 135,574 points, GPU 64,049 points, MEM 113,220 points, and UX 100,648 points. The Helio G99 ensures smooth daily usage and decent performance in games like MOBAs and Speed War.

Regarding the battery, the DOOGEE S Mini is equipped with a modest 3,000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging. According to the manufacturer's claims, the device can last up to 7 days on standby, provide a full day of regular usage, offer 6 hours of video playback, and handle 4.5 hours of web browsing.

In terms of pricing, DOOGEE lists the S Mini at $279 (approximately 6.7 million VND) on their official website. At this price point, one might consider other devices with better configurations, cameras, and displays. However, for a device focused on durability, ruggedness, and compactness, the DOOGEE S Mini is worth exploring.
