After taking photos around the island, the whole group decided to have lunch at Bo Dap island. What's special here is that all the seafood is fresh, swimming lively in the basket right by the beach. Everyone can freely choose, and the island's chef will prepare to serve.
Besides the fragrant plates of crabs and snails, we were also kindly invited by Mr. Tinh to try his exquisite homemade prickly pear wine. After passing around those sweet, spicy, warm glasses of wine and the warm hospitality of the island's family, the distance between guests and hosts became even closer.
Bo Dap island is one of the islands in Ba Lua archipelago of Kien Giang province, known as the Halong Bay of the South. It's called Bo Dap because the island consists of a large and a small island connected by a rocky road, like a dam across the vast sea.

Then came the cultural exchange performance, the whole family of the island's hosts are masters of arts. Mrs. Hai and her daughter have sweet traditional folk songs, while Mr. Tinh has romantic songs equally sweet.
After lunch, Mr. Tinh invited our group to go diving for sea urchins, admire coral reefs, and hunt crabs and snails based on the 'criteria' of catching for... eating, not paying.
The seafood source here is also extremely rich, just swim a little further and you will be overwhelmed by the sight of a whole family of sea urchins densely lying at the bottom of the sea, oysters clinging all over the rocks.
A mere dive effort promises a grand seafood feast.
Even non-swimmers can enjoy beach bathing on the white sand shores near the dam. The sea here is relatively shallow, with water only reaching waist-high even when swimming far out. Just as Hien described, the sea is clean, calm, and crystal clear, making everyone reluctant to step ashore.

Tinh mentioned that if our group stayed overnight, he would treat us to night squid fishing, night fishing, and embark on a sea voyage to explore the entire Dam Island. Unfortunately, due to tight schedules, the whole group had to leave immediately.
It's a great idea, as Hien suggested; next time, our group returns, he will arrange accommodation on the island for two or three days with us.
When we departed, Tinh went all the way to the pier to bid farewell. Despite the ship being far gone, he stood on the deck waving goodbye...
