Exploring the famous fish sauce producers of Phu Quoc Island

Phu Quoc fish sauce is highly praised by customers both domestically and internationally. After catching, anchovies are transported and poured into fermentation barrels. Through several stages, the fish ferment naturally in the barrels for 12 months under natural conditions. The key is to ferment the fish in wooden barrels; the longer the fermentation, the more delicious the fish sauce becomes.

When the liquid in the fermentation barrels turns golden brown and emits a fragrant aroma, it indicates that the fermentation process is complete, and the fish sauce can be extracted. The fish sauce has a gentle aroma and a rich, distinctive flavor. It is then poured into containers and bottled for consumption.
