The historical site of Kim Liên is situated in Kim Liên commune, Nam Đàn district, Nghệ An province, in the coastal region of Central Vietnam, approximately 15 km from Vinh city. This is the place that preserves the relics and artifacts closely associated with the childhood of the Leader, as well as the vivid depiction of the intense struggles of the nation during those years.

Travelers arriving here can choose from various modes of transportation such as buses, coaches, cars, trains, or motorcycles for those who prefer adventurous journeys. From Vinh, take National Highway 46 for 13 km, then turn left for another 1 km to reach the historical site of Kim Liên. Alternatively, if traveling by car from Hanoi to Nam Đàn, take National Highway 1A to National Highway 46 and drive an additional 7 km to reach the historical site. The simple and humble thatched-roof adobe exudes a sense of tranquility. This is where Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac and Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan taught the Person his first Confucian characters, lessons about love for the homeland, the nation, and the indomitable spirit of the woman who created a great person, Ho Chi Minh, evoking deep emotions in visitors, reminiscent of the beloved father of the nation.

The Hoang Tru Village Complex is Bác Hồ's ancestral homeland, the place where he first cried out into the world. Covering an area of approximately 3,500 square meters, rows of ancient betel palms stretch vigorously on both sides. The three-compartment thatched house emerges with simple and humble artifacts from Bác's family, preserved through the ages.

Entering the house, visitors are greeted by artifacts: a weathered wooden bed frame, a rattan hammock with silver threads, a quill pen, and a wooden desk. These artifacts evoke nostalgic memories of Bác Hồ's childhood for the visitors.
Grave of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan
Situated within the Kim Lien Heritage Area, the grave of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan is nestled on the slopes of the Dai Hue mountain range, constructed since 1984. The tomb is built in the shape of a giant wooden loom, symbolizing the tool she used as a weaver to support her children. The surroundings of the tomb are adorned with granite and jade stone slabs. The roof of the tomb is covered with natural stones and a protective layer adorned with flowers.

In front of the tomb stands a large plaque detailing the biography and contributions of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan. Visitors standing below can see both sides of the path paved with various-sized stone steps resembling an extended ribbon. This tomb is increasingly expanding, becoming a historical site. Many visitors come here to express their sincere gratitude to the woman who gave birth to the leader of the Vietnamese nation.
