The cameras on the new Galaxy S models are enriched with various features and leverage AI for optimal photo capture.

In the recently launched Galaxy S trio, both the Galaxy S10 and S10+ feature a triple rear camera setup with identical specifications: a 12-megapixel primary sensor, f/1.5-f/2.4 Dual Aperture, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. The Galaxy S10e variant features a dual rear camera setup, including a 12-megapixel primary camera with f/1.5-f/2.4 aperture and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
Daytime landscape shots (left) exhibit high detail, true-to-life colors, and harmony. Meanwhile, nighttime shots (right) capture more light thanks to the f/1.5 aperture camera.

Photos taken with the wide-angle (left) and ultra-wide-angle (right) lenses of the Galaxy S10. The new lenses enhance the grandeur of scenes. Thanks to artificial intelligence (AI), elements like color, brightness, contrast... are optimized, resulting in even more beautiful photos, even in backlight conditions.

With a 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens combined with self-adjusting features, photos appear natural and distortion-free.

Panoramic photos are wider and taller, offering a more expansive view with the help of the ultra-wide-angle camera.

The Galaxy S10 upgrades the Scene Optimization feature, improving photo quality. The difference between not using it (left photo) and using it (right photo) is noticeable. According to Samsung, the camera can recognize specific scenes and suggest improvements. For example, if you're capturing a sunrise, the camera will automatically ask if you want to switch to the Ultra Wide lens to capture that scene. In low-light conditions, it suggests switching to the Night mode for higher-quality photos.

The Live Focus feature has been revamped, allowing for quick subject recognition. Users can customize real-time artistic effects, even before capturing the image. The Galaxy S10+, with its dual front cameras (10-megapixel + 8-megapixel), captures more effective Live Focus photos.

Samsung also introduces new bokeh effects for the Galaxy S10 camera. From left to right: original photo, standard bokeh effect, spin bokeh, zoom bokeh, and color point.

The new smartphone camera from the South Korean electronics giant also introduces enhanced customization for the AR Emoji feature. In addition to capturing and selecting from hundreds of available face effects, users can create their own personalized emoticons or download additional ones from the Galaxy Store app marketplace.
