The use of student language deviates from standards due to the excessive borrowing of foreign words, phrases, or local dialects, leading to the transformation of the Vietnamese language, such as referring to currency units as 'branches, bulbs, liters,' expressing surprise or horror with the word 'vai,' or using unconventional letter combinations in place of standard language, for example, writing 'Happy Birthday' as 'Ckúc mừg sjnk nkat.' The language of students, both among students and young people in general, is currently challenging for adults to understand and tolerate. Added to this is the relaxed management of families and schools, allowing students to freely express themselves. Access to culturally questionable content also contributes to the cultural decline and deviation of language. The improper use of the Vietnamese language leads to numerous consequences, distorting the language of the nation, causing it to warp and lose its inherent essence, diminishing the purity of the Vietnamese language, and impacting communication and cultural behavior among people.

To combat this issue, it is crucial for families, schools, and society as a whole to join forces. However, the primary responsibility lies with the students themselves, as they must recognize the deviations in their language usage. Families should closely monitor and manage their children, educating them on proper communication and behavior, adhering to cultural norms. Schools need to educate students to protect the purity of the Vietnamese language, identifying and discouraging deviations from standard language use. Society should rigorously manage programs that promote content lacking in quality and standards.
