Nathaniel Richards, an erudite scholar thriving in the 31st century, boasts profound knowledge across diverse domains. Numerous clues suggest Nathaniel's lineage traces back to both Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and Doctor Doom - legendary rivals within the Marvel universe. In the future, Nathaniel discovers Doom's time-travel technology and utilizes it to journey back to ancient Egypt as his initial destination. Since then, he consistently manipulates the time stream, spawning various iterations of himself across the Marvel cosmos.
Victor Timely

Kang once traversed time, arriving in 1901 to settle in Wisconsin, USA. Here, he assumed the identity of Victor Timely and founded a township named Timely as his covert operational base, enabling clandestine manipulation of the time stream. Somehow, he may also be credited with creating the android Human Torch by incessantly meddling with past events.
To evade suspicion, Kang devised a robotic duplicate of Victor Timely to stand in for him during his absence. This lifelike android ages over time, adept at persuading and outwitting others. Additionally, deeply concealed within Timely lies a secret doorway linking to his temporal stronghold, Chronopolis.
Kang the Conquering Robot

Before making his official debut in the MCU, Kang had appeared in numerous Marvel animated series. One of his most memorable incarnations was Kang the Conquering Robot in Avengers: United They Stand. This rendition exudes a futuristic and scientific essence, posing greater challenges to the superheroes. It underscores Kang's diverse and unpredictable creative capabilities, as prior iterations of Kang mostly shared similar appearances and mannerisms.
Mr. Gryphon

Mr. Gryphon is a variant of Kang trapped in the 21st century. He established the mighty empire of Qeng Enterprises, so influential that it could acquire Stark Tower - the headquarters of the Avengers. Additionally, he allied with Warbringer, a Chitauri alien. He continuously collaborated with other villains to clandestinely expand his power until the Avengers exposed his true identity, compelling him to return to his own timeline.
Rama-Tut

While time-traveling back to ancient Egypt, a version of Nathaniel Richards became a great Pharaoh named Rama-Tut, who once clashed with the Fantastic Four in the 1963 comic storyline. At that time, he even faced (and failed against) En Sabah Nur - Apocalypse, the first mutant in Marvel history. Although Rama-Tut returned to the future, he sometimes reverses the time stream to challenge the Avengers in their own team's comics.
The Scarlet Centurion

The Scarlet Centurion is one of Kang's earliest variants, a result of his disruptions of the time stream in the past. Drawing on Doctor Doom's technology, another notorious time-traveler, Kang created his own advanced armor, allowing him to enhance his combat abilities while traversing the complex time stream effortlessly. He even devised a special device enabling time travel without creating new realities. His son Marcus briefly assumed the role of the Scarlet Centurion before being slain by Kang.
Star Trek’s Kang

One of Kang's most wild time-traveling escapades resulted in the grandest cross-over event between Marvel and Star Trek in popular culture. In the 90s comic series, Kang once again wreaked havoc across multiple realities with a device called the Time Hook. This compelled the X-Men and the crew of the Enterprise-D in Star-Trek: The Next Generation to unite forces to thwart him. Kang's audacious actions also highlighted Marvel's existence within a broader universe containing numerous cinematic universes of popular culture.
Kang the Conglomerator

The Edge of Spider-Geddon series brought forth various Spider-Man iterations from alternate realities, such as Hobie Brown/Spider-Punk, a music-loving superhero who collaborates with allies like Captain Anarchy and Atom Bomb (a Hulk variant). Kang the Conglomerator is a successful businessman living in 2099, where he holds copyrights to all other superheroes. He sought to bring Hobie Brown to his future to absorb his Spider-Punk persona, but ultimately succumbed to the power of his punk rock music (and the Hulk's muscular strength).
Kamala Kang

In the storyline of Infinity War (2018), Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel time-traveled to the future after her powers were upgraded in Warp World. Here, she became entangled in a complex series of events, ultimately being bound and merged with Kang the Conqueror, forming Kamala Kang. In the final episode of the Ms. Marvel series, Kamala Khan's mysterious disappearance could potentially pave the way for Marvel Studios to introduce this Kamala Kang variant in the MCU in upcoming projects.
Immortus

Among Kang's many variants, Immortus, although initially unaware, is revealed to be his future self. Immortus is deeply loyal to the Time-Keepers and is destined to rule Limbo - the space dimension outside of time's influence. Calling himself the Lord of Time, Immortus monitors and controls temporal deviations caused by his younger versions, such as Kang or Rama-Tut.
Kang and the Universal Church of Immortus

This is the Kang variant residing in the Earth X universe, also known as Earth-9997, later changed to Universe X. In this peculiar reality, everyone possesses superpowers, causing traditional superheroes to struggle to adapt to new ways of life, with some even turning to villainy. With his cunning intellect, Kang quickly adopts the identity of Immortus, becoming the Pope of the Universal Church of Immortus, attracting many devoted followers, including Spider-Man.
Kid Immortus

Upon Nate Richards' return to his own timeline to embrace his destiny as Kang the Conqueror, he inadvertently becomes Kid Immortus, appearing alongside Ravonna, Kang's paramour. Soon after, he allies with Doctor Doom to defeat the Fantastic Four to subdue his other variants, the ones unable to thwart the super team.
Kid Immortus relentlessly seeks to evade his fate of becoming Kang the Conqueror. However, his power and the villain Annihilus were covertly manipulated by Doctor Doom to create a new entity capable of threatening the existence of the multiverse: Doom the Annihilating Conqueror. Only through the collaboration of two new Fantastic Four teams can they stop this amalgamated villain, allowing Kid Immortus to return to his timeline.
Iron Lad

Fed up with facing the Avengers, a younger version of Kang reversed time and formed a teenage superhero team named the Young Avengers, becoming Iron Lad himself. This heroic variant of Kang brought a fresh perspective to the Marvel universe and may likely be integrated into the MCU, especially considering the ongoing hints towards the Young Avengers through recent projects. However, upon realizing his disruptive impact, Iron Lad resolved to eradicate Kang and return to the future, thereby creating a time paradox in the Marvel universe.
Council of Cross-Time Kangs

Kang the Conqueror emerged when one of his variants got stuck in the 40th century. Here, he forged an entirely new armor from future materials, enabling him to conquer Earth and become a notorious villain familiar to Marvel readers for many years. Not stopping there, Kang the Conqueror continuously returns to the past to wage war against the Avengers. This action inadvertently spawned numerous other versions of himself - individuals who later formed the renowned Council of Cross-Time Kangs.
