Initially, a few female friends who were not adept at swimming expressed concern about sleeping on the boat at night. Therefore, our group almost missed out on the exciting and enticing experiences.
The first intriguing aspect of our 24-hour voyage in Ha Long Bay is the mini hotel... on the water's surface. These are the various-sized cruise ships.
As we stepped onto the cruise ship, we felt excited, curious, and delighted by the clean, comfortable accommodations and delicious seafood. We lounged in the sun, admiring the picturesque scenery of water, mountains, and sky, amidst the magnificent natural surroundings.

In recent years, cruise ship vacations to explore Ha Long Bay have been regarded as a novel and ideal form of relaxation. Whether you're a fan of adventure travel or more conventional forms, you cannot overlook the experience of living amidst the water's colors, the shapes of the mountains, and the sky's clouds, all bestowed by Mother Nature.
Waking up amidst the vast expanse of sky and water, you'll experience a sense of inner peace and tranquility. The magnificent beauty of the early morning, when dawn breaks and the sun heralds the start of a new day, leaves an indelible impression.
During the 24-hour journey to explore the wonders of the world-renowned Ha Long Bay, we visited the Cua Van fishing village, tried our hand at fishing offshore, explored the Dau Go cave, and discovered the pristine peninsula and the smiling beach of Ti Top.

Exploring the Charms of Cua Van - World's Most Beautiful Fishing Village
With its picturesque landscape of mountains and water, Cua Van has been recognized as one of the world's most beautiful fishing villages. We not only immersed ourselves in the tranquil and serene atmosphere, witnessing the majestic beauty of nature, and learning about the cultural life of fishermen, but also received guidance from local women on rowing boats, casting nets to catch fish, crabs, shrimp, and more.
We tried our hand at being fishermen, catching seafood offshore such as shrimp, fish, snails, crabs, and squid, nurtured in the nets around the village. The reward after 2 hours of hands-on fishing was enjoying a bowl of fish porridge amidst the scenic river and sky. The enticing aroma of fatty fish porridge, famous for Cua Van fishermen, left a lasting impression on our group.
Exploring Dau Go Cave
Since childhood, I've heard my mother recount stories from ancient annals about the resistance against the Yuan-Mongol invaders. Here, Tran Hung Dao prepared many sharp-pointed ironwood stakes to stake down the Bach Dang River, creating a glorious naval battle in history. Due to the many remaining pieces of wood, the fishermen named it Dau Go Cave.

Today, our group was truly fulfilled as we set our eyes upon Dau Go Cave. Stepping foot into the cave, we were amazed by its ancient, pristine, and incredibly captivating beauty. Standing beneath the cave's vault, I felt as if I were standing in the midst of a grand royal palace, with its magnificent, majestic, and impressive architecture.

Dau Go Cave is divided into three main chambers. But the most exceptional is the second chamber, resembling clusters of colorful stone flowers, alternating to evoke excitement and curiosity in me. The outer chamber features a majestic vault adorned with a gigantic 'oil painting' depicting the pristine natural landscape with rocky forests and stalactites on the ceiling. At the far end of the cave is a fairy well with fresh, clear water flowing abundantly year-round.
Exploring the Untamed Peninsula and Joyful Ti Top Beach
Unlike many tourist spots in Ha Long Bay, aside from the charming landscape of mountains and water, the sandy island also boasts a beautiful beach called Ti Top. Although not large in size, the tranquil beach with constantly shifting sands washed clean by the tides, pristine white, and crystal-clear seawater, all year round.
Viewed from above, Ti Top Beach resembles a crescent moon embracing the island's foot. Our group eagerly went ashore for a swim and hiked to the mountaintop to admire the panoramic view of the island.
The Joyful Beach is named by our group after a relaxing and playful time at Ti Top. Because when you immerse yourself in the azure waters, the tiny, adorable fish at your feet amusingly make you burst into laughter.
Returning from an unforgettable and regret-free journey, we plan another excursion to explore Surprising Cave, Heavenly Palace Cave, Soi Sim Beach, Bai Tu Long Bay, and more.
