Day 1: My Tho – Con Long – Con Lan – Can Tho
6 am: Departure
From Ho Chi Minh City, you can head to the Mien Tay bus station to purchase tickets to Tien Giang or book tickets online for 60,000 VND per person per way. Tien Giang is only about 70 km away from Ho Chi Minh City, so you can also drive along National Highway 1 to Trung Luong intersection, which leads to the gateway of My Tho city.
8 am: Breakfast
Indulge in a My Tho breakfast delicacy: My Tho noodle soup. The soft, chewy noodles are immersed in a flavorful broth infused with the sweetness of simmered bones and the savory essence of dried shrimp, boasting a distinctive and rich taste.

9 am: Explore Vinh Trang Pagoda
Constructed in 1849, this pagoda is situated on Nguyen Trung Truc street in My Tho city. It has stood since the early 19th century, serving as the largest Buddhist pagoda in Tien Giang province and showcasing a remarkable blend of Asian and European architectural styles.

10 am: Visit Con Long – Con Lan
Along the Tien River, the four islets Long – Lan – Quy – Phung continually captivate tourists. Con Long and Con Lan belong to My Tho city, Tien Giang province, while Con Quy and Con Phung are in Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province. If time is limited, exploring Con Long and Con Lan suffices, as the islets here share many similarities.
Cồn Long specializes in aquaculture on rafts and repairs boats because of its proximity to the My Tho fishing port. Here, there are also lush orchards filled with delicious fruits such as durian, rambutan, sapodilla, seedless guava, oranges, mangoes, and milk apples.

Cồn Lân, also known as Thới Sơn Islet, is the largest islet among the four. Visiting Thới Sơn, tourists will experience the distinctive form of river tourism, which involves cruising along winding canals amidst lush coconut rows. Additionally, you can stroll along winding stone paths, pass through lush fruit orchards, relax in garden houses while enjoying honey tea, and listen to traditional folk music performances.

12:00 PM: Lunch

2:30 PM: Move to Can Tho
After lunch in Tien Giang, you can continue your journey to the city of Can Tho.

Day 2: Cai Rang Floating Market – My Khanh Fruit Orchard – Binh Thuy Ancient House
6:00 AM: Cai Rang Floating Market
It takes about 30 minutes to reach Cai Rang Floating Market from Ninh Kieu Wharf by motorboat along the Hau River, one of Can Tho's most remarkable attractions. The market operates from 5 to 10 AM, with peak activity around 7 AM. It primarily sells agricultural products, fruits, and food items. Large and small boats from neighboring provinces gather here for trade and exchange of goods. The most exciting part is enjoying a meal right on the boats while observing the bustling trading scene.


9:30 AM: My Khanh Ecotourism Village
After exploring and shopping at the floating market, travelers can travel about 6km to My Khanh Ecotourism Village, located in Phong Dien district – a renowned fruit garden in the South. This place is famous for over 20 varieties of intercropped trees lining the pathways, including plum, mango, rambutan, jackfruit, strawberry, and durian, always fresh and abundant. Additionally, numerous traditional folk games are often organized here, such as pig racing, dog racing, monkey circus, and crocodile fishing, attracting tourists.


12:00 PM: Lunch
Indulge in the fermented fish hotpot at Da Ly located on 3/2 Street. This restaurant has been open for quite some time and has expertise in cooking fermented fish hotpot. Many people believe that 'visiting Can Tho without trying Da Ly fermented fish hotpot is like not visiting Can Tho at all'. The price for a serving of fermented fish hotpot for 4 people is around 350,000 - 400,000 VND.

2:00 PM: Visit Binh Thuy Ancient House
The house is located on Bui Huu Nghia Street, Binh Thuy Ward, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City, designed with 5 compartments and 2 roofs, featuring French colonial architecture. The construction was built by the Duong family in 1870.
With significant cultural and architectural values, this is a rare intact ancient house that helps researchers understand the life, culture, and development process over time of the people in the Mekong Delta.
