Indulging in the dining experience at L’annam Buffet, specializing in delightful fresh seafood and a tempting array of 100 European-Asian-Japanese dishes.
I visited L’annam to celebrate the anniversary of our company's founding. Two weeks prior, the department head entrusted me with the 'noble mission' of choosing a suitable venue for our team to celebrate in style. While I often enjoy casual outings with colleagues and the occasional change of scenery with my partner, I've never had the honor of being the 'master of ceremonies' like this before!
Initial impressions of the L’annam Buffet seafood restaurant
After exploring Times City and wandering around Vincom Ba Trieu, I decided to give L’annam Buffet at 177 Bui Thi Xuan a try. This seafood restaurant is conveniently located, right in the central area and close to my company. At first glance, I was impressed by the spacious and airy atmosphere of L’annam Buffet, with its modern and elegant design, ample parking space for both cars and motorcycles, and the attentive and quick staff. These were my initial impressions of this reputable seafood buffet in Hanoi.

Real-life experience with the dishes on L’annam Buffet's menu
When our group arrived for the feast, a fresh-faced receptionist led us to a table on the second floor, offering comfortable privacy, allowing us to enjoy without worrying about 'bullet-like stares.' Once seated, our group, including myself, eagerly ventured to explore the buffet tables, dubbed by some culinary forums as a beautifully named 'seafood paradise in Hanoi.'

First up is the salad counter with fresh and crisp greens, each salad meticulously mixed with its own specially crafted sauce. On these scorching days in Hanoi, the sight of the vibrant greenery is truly refreshing and pleasant.

Next, let's explore the appetizer counter! Here, the focus is mainly on Japanese dishes with a variety of traditional specialties. From colorful and appetizing mixed sushi plates to impeccably fresh sashimi, proudly displayed as if challenging passersby. It's truly challenging to choose between the rich and fatty salmon sushi or the myriad of enticing maki rolls, gracefully accompanied by tangy pickled ginger.

The 'treasure' of L’annam Buffet lies in the seafood counter - a vast and deep oceanic space, with fresh green lobsters still 'playfully' waiting for the skilled chef to prepare on the aromatic Teppanyaki table. I, on the other hand, was captivated by the abundant and sweet long oysters and the fragrant grilled shrimp skewers that were heartwarming.... But that's not all! Our group was bewildered by the plates filled with various types of sea snails, blood clams, scallops - steamed, stir-fried, fried, grilled, you name it, and every dish was irresistibly delicious!!! My colleague seemed enchanted by the exotic flavor of the crispy tamarind crab.

Dining at L’annam Buffet is filled with many delightful activities! You can eagerly await the chef skillfully preparing a sizzling American beef steak, or raise a glass to share precious moments with your companions. Indulging in a tenderly grilled Australian lamb chop with a hint of red wine aroma will leave you feeling content.

For a hearty meal, head over to the local market area and savor a bowl of noodle soup, crab noodle soup, or authentic Hanoi-style crab noodle soup. Meanwhile, I and a few other lovely ladies caught the Wi-Fi signal in the European cuisine section, with a variety of options including pizza, Italian pasta, cheesy bread, and cold cuts...
