The Honda SH150i ABS Special Edition in Black Gray is a recent addition by Honda Vietnam, hitting the market around mid-last year. Its listed price on the company's website stands at 98,490,000 VND. The owner of the bike featured in this article purchased it about a month ago for nearly 130 million VND in Saigon. Overall, it's essentially a color variant akin to its 'big brother,' the SH350i, with no changes in features compared to the newer SH150i model introduced earlier.
From the front, the Honda SH150i stands out with its fully LED lighting system. At the forefront is a curved LED strip for positioning, while the main lighting section is placed lower down. In my opinion, the lighting efficiency of the new SH150i is good enough for long rides. The design of the positioning lights also boasts a high level of recognition during road maneuvers.

The wheels of the bike are painted black, with a dual 5-spoke design. Both front and rear wheel sizes are 16 inches, with the front tire being 100/80 and the rear tire measuring 120/80. The bike's front brake is a single disc type, integrated with ABS anti-lock braking technology, also present in the rear disc brake system. ABS enhances the safety of the bike's operation, especially in emergency braking situations.
The ABS version of the Honda SH150i weighs 134kg, slightly heavier than the version equipped with conventional CBS brakes. The seat height of the bike is 799mm, which is comfortable for a person with a height of 1m68 like myself to easily reach the ground with their feet, though slightly tiptoeing, but not a problem as the bike is not excessively heavy. In the SH150i ABS model I had the opportunity to borrow for this article, some details have been altered, such as the decals on the lower body panels or the front end, as well as the carbon fiber patterned cover panels on the fuel tank.
The bike's fuel tank has a capacity of 7.8 liters. The fuel consumption rate as stated by Honda for the SH150i model is 2.24 liters per 100km. Personally, I find the fuel tank cap placement not particularly convenient, as it requires a rather deep bend to refill the tank. Additionally, closing the cap is not particularly easy either.
The SH150i boasts a modern LCD dashboard divided into 2 sections. It supports Bluetooth connectivity through the My Honda+ app on smartphones. Equipped with HSTC traction control system, capable of detecting speed discrepancies between the front and rear wheels when moving on slippery roads, thus calculating the slip ratio, controlling engine torque, and regaining traction for the rear wheel.
The left cluster of buttons on the Honda SH150i ABS includes the headlight/high beam adjustment button, integrated passing button for overtaking or signaling to other vehicles on the road. Below are the 4-button cluster consisting of a small-sized horn button, Info A and B buttons, as well as a navigation bar to customize the information displayed on the 2 LCD screens of the speedometer. The right cluster of buttons is simpler with the shortcut button/activate temporary engine shutdown feature, and at the bottom is the ignition button.

The spacious compartment of the motorcycle trunk can hold up to 28 liters and comes equipped with a phone charging port. With such a large trunk capacity, you can easily store numerous belongings. The large and deep compartment can accommodate a 3/4 helmet, while the smaller upper compartment is perfect for storing miscellaneous items such as raincoats. Additionally, there is a designated tray for stabilizing your phone while charging.
