According to researchers, the tower was built for religious purposes, to worship the gods of the Cham religion, including Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva - the three supreme gods of Hinduism. Later, kings who contributed to the country were also worshipped in the towers.
The tower boasts impressive dimensions and a distinctive shape compared to other Cham towers. This structure is a fusion of the characteristic architecture of Binh Dinh Cham and Khmer architecture. The perfect blend of Cham brick tower construction techniques and Khmer stone carving and assembling techniques has created a remarkable architectural masterpiece.

Having endured over 8 centuries, the tower has suffered severe damage from wars and nature. However, with the attention of local authorities and people, the tower has been restored, preserved, and has become one of the important historical and cultural relics of Binh Dinh province.

The Southern Tower
According to many assessments, the Southern Tower - dedicated to the deity Vishnu - has the most beautiful and intact architecture. The tower stands at 32.94 meters tall, 14 meters wide, with a distance of 1 meter from the Southern Tower to the Central Tower. Its walls are constructed in a stepped style, gradually protruding towards the entrance. Additionally, decorative motifs such as round breast-shaped carvings, images of deities, and intricate details on the tower's roof, such as elephants, lions, the divine bull Nandin, the face of Kala, the serpent deity Naga, ... are highlights that contribute to the sophistication and elegance of Cham architectural art. All these elements together create a magnificent beauty and attract the attention of visitors to explore and discover.

The Northern Tower
The Northern Tower - dedicated to the god Brahma, is the smallest tower with a height of 31.76 meters. This tower was the most severely damaged of the three towers. Before being reinforced in 1984, the tower's body was deeply hollowed out inside. The tower has a square shape and its outer cladding layout is similar to the Southern Tower. Although the main entrance has collapsed, we can still see the towering spear-shaped door vault. Two door pillars are made of stone, decorated with statues of the mythical bird Garuda riding a snake. The false doors are designed like the main door but smaller. At the top of the door pillars are fierce Kala faces, spewing out from the seven-headed Naga snake. The roof has a structure of four gradually smaller tiers upwards, ending with a large lotus bud at the top of the tower.

After excavation activities, archaeologists have discovered 2 additional architectural structures within this archaeological site. Located to the west, these two structures are also constructed of bricks.
The first structure is square-shaped, with the main axis passing through the corridor between the Southern Tower and the Middle Tower. The second structure is also square-shaped but larger in size, with the main axis facing the corridor between the Northern Tower and the Middle Tower.
There is still limited information about these two structures. However, with their unique architecture, the tower complex appears majestic and harbors many mysteries. If you visit here, be sure to stop by and explore.
