How to Use Stellarium Software
In this article, we will guide you on how to download, install, and use Stellarium software on a Windows computer. For Mac OS and Linux, you can download the setup package from the official website stellarium.org HERE.
1. Download and Install Stellarium on Your Computer
Step 1: Download Stellarium here.
Step 2: After successfully downloading, proceed with the installation by clicking on the software setup file.
Click on Next
Select Accept the agreement -> click Next to agree to the terms and proceed with the software installation.
Continue by clicking Next following the software instructions, then click Install to install the software on your computer.
Step 3: Upon successful installation, click on Finish to complete the installation process.

2. How to Use Stellarium to View the Universe on Your Computer
When you open Stellarium, it defaults to a distant location, definitely not in Vietnam. The first time you open it, the default language chosen is English, so the display language in this software will always be English.

Embark on Step 1: Language Transformation to Vietnamese
Initiate the language switch by locating the wrench icon on the left-hand toolbar. Then, select the small black triangle to unveil language options. Opt for Vietnamese and ensure the settings are saved for future use.
Displaying Constellation Images
Stellarium also assists users in displaying constellation images. To activate this feature, press the R shortcut key or click on the (3) horizontal menu bar. You can toggle labels containing names or identifiers of planets to distinguish them by pressing F4 or the vertical bar (3).

Press F4 or use the Menu Sky and Viewing Options to activate labels containing names or identifiers of planets to distinguish them clearly.
Adjusting Time Settings
Stellarium runs based on the time set on your computer, so if it's nighttime, you can observe immediately. If it's daytime, you need to open the Date/Time Window and select nighttime for observation.
Press F5 or click on the icon (2) on the vertical menu bar.
Fixating a Planet for Observation
To fixate a planet or a star, such as fixing the Moon in one place for comfortable observation, you can click on Center on selected object as described in the image on the bottom Menu bar. Alternatively, you can press the spacebar. Once fixed, you can zoom in or out for observation and exploration.
