Overview of Topaz
Topaz & Numby are characters of the Fate Hunt element Fire. They, along with their teammates, are members of the Peaceful Planet Company, wandering the universe and addressing debt disputes that impact the company's development.
Topaz primarily deals damage through the follow-up attacks of Numby. With her gameplay, mechanics, and skills, she brings diverse strategies and a unique playstyle to Honkai: Star Rail gamers.
Reasons to Choose Topaz
In essence, new characters from miHoYo are often initially favored but later make room for newcomers. This sometimes leads to players feeling regretful after obtaining them. Mytour will present both strengths and weaknesses so that players can make the most accurate decisions.
Combat Abilities
Topaz has a damage mechanism quite distinct from regular Fate Hunt characters, with only 150% initial damage from basic attacks, ultimate skill, and talent, considered as follow-up attacks. However, the ultimate inflicts the Debt Evidence effect on enemies, causing them to take an additional 50% damage from follow-up attacks. This effect is not dispelled by monster resistance effects. Additionally, the ultimate boosts Numby's critical damage by 25%, prioritizes actions by 50%, and multiplies the pig's damage by an additional 150%, effectively doubling Numby's damage.
Topaz's Combat AbilitiesAccording to Mytour's evaluation, Topaz and Numby exhibit commendable combat capabilities, somewhat similar to Jing Yuan and Divine Knight but lacking in AoE damage.
Versatility & Utility in Team Building, Combat, World Exploration
In battles, the Debt Evidence effect causes enemies to take an additional 50% damage from follow-up attacks. Therefore, in your lineup, characters like Kafka, Himeko, and others can gain a slight edge. Particularly, the white-haired duo Topaz and Clara are considered a perfect match due to their surprising similarities.
Currently, Honkai: Star Rail has introduced excellent Fire-element support characters. For instance, Asta can significantly boost speed and essential Fire damage for Numby. The upcoming DOT character Guinaifen also mitigates Topaz's weaknesses. However, due to the abundance of Fire element supports and a lack of top-tier DPS, many players may not have enough equipment to enhance, and they might even need to completely hunt for a set of artifacts and accompanying stigmata.
ClaraAdditionally, Topaz & Numby can provide players with up to an extra 10,000 credits per day. While this amount may seem small, it's like a 'stainless steel mosquito bite' compared to the players' consumption speed. What gamers appreciate about Numby is its ability to lure Space Pig without running away, making it easier to defeat and earn 60 Starglow Coins.
Furthermore, when Topaz defeats enemies in VTMP, players also receive additional small fragments of the universe and random exotic items. This effect is crucial as, on average, players only have about 400 to 600 universe fragments at the end of the game.
Summary
In conclusion, the greatest strength of this duo lies in their versatility, serving as both a main DPS and a secondary DPS specializing in follow-up attacks. Topaz's weaknesses may lie in initial damage and survivability, but players can completely overcome this by adding a few support characters mentioned earlier.
