Exploring the Khmer Museum, visitors gain insights into the distinctive religious beliefs, cultural practices, traditional professions, and Khmer arts. We were fortunate to witness the ancient 1,000-year-old Satra scripture inscribed on palm leaves, admire sculptures crafted by monks, and observe models depicting traditional Khmer customs in funerals and weddings.

Indulging in traditional cuisine while discovering a region is always a captivating experience for travelers. In Trà Vinh, Bến Có noodle soup is a must-try. Located in Nguyệt Hóa commune, Châu Thành district, about 5km from Trà Vinh city, this dish has a history dating back to 1990 when the owner, Ms. Muối, started with a small mobile stall, later evolving into the present-day establishment. The name 'Bến Có' originates from the piece of land where her journey began.

Perhaps, only in Bến Có have I tasted such uniquely delicious noodle soup. Over a dozen different ingredients converge to create a harmonious blend of flavors. The broth is sweet and clear, the noodles are perfectly soft and chewy, complemented by the rich and sweet flavors of various pork parts, including intestine, liver, heart, and stomach. Ms. Muối revealed the secret: ingredients must be selected fresh, right after the pig is slaughtered. The seaweed should have a red hue, firm to the touch, and the right amount of flour for the best taste.
Farewell to Trà Vinh, we lingered with the ancient trees, the graceful curves of the pagoda roofs, and the lingering sweetness of Bến Có noodle soup.
