Vĩnh Hy Bay is situated in the Northeast of Ninh Thuan province, approximately 40 kilometers from Phan Rang city, right next to Nui Chua National Park. The sea here remains untouched by commercialization as it is still a hidden gem. Consequently, the pristine and untouched beauty of the turquoise sea, white sands, mountainous forests, and the nature of Vĩnh Hy are exceptionally rare and, of course, breathtaking!
When is the best time to visit Vĩnh Hy?
Being a small bay surrounded by Nui Chua mountain, the weather in Vĩnh Hy is mild and pleasant throughout the year. You can visit anytime, just avoid the rainy season. However, if possible, plan your trip to Vĩnh Hy around May to August as this is the most beautiful time. Note that prices during this period may be slightly higher than usual.
Getting to Vĩnh Hy
If coming from Phan Rang city, you can take a bus directly to Vĩnh Hy. The bus routes here are frequent and consistent throughout the day.
Alternatively, you have another interesting option, which is renting a motorbike and traveling to the bay on your own. The road from the city to the bay passes through Ninh Chu Sea, with one side hugging Nui Chua mountain and the other overlooking the stunning blue sea. If you're on a motorbike, feel free to stop anywhere to explore or take 'Instagrammable' photos because the scenery here is beyond words!
If coming from Cam Ranh, you can also drive to Vĩnh Hy Bay via National Highway 1 and TL702. This route also passes through the famous Bình Tiên Beach. In total, it's only about 40 kilometers to reach your destination.
Where to stay in Vĩnh Hy?
Because it's still relatively undiscovered, Vĩnh Hy doesn't have an abundance of accommodations. You can consider a few options:
If you prefer a luxurious stay with an extremely generous budget (emphasizing, extremely!), you can choose Vĩnh Hy Resort or the epitome of luxury, the 6-star Amanoi Resort nestled in the mountains. With the hefty price tag here, you'll experience a serene resort atmosphere with lavish services.
If you just need a reasonably priced place, Vĩnh Hy also has some guesthouses for you to choose from. Research and make reservations in advance to be sure of availability.

If you can swim, that's fantastic – just grab a snorkel and a breathing tube, and you can freely swim with the fish under the crystal-clear water, admiring the stunning coral reefs. For seafood, you can buy it right on the shore in the early morning when it's freshly caught. Or better yet, rent a boat to the offshore seafood rafts to choose the freshest shrimp, fish, crabs, etc. You can either prepare and enjoy them on the boat or take them home as a treat.
