Last year, Xiaomi introduced the GaN 65W charger, which gained significant user attention. However, due to hacking risks, Xiaomi had to recall the 65W charger. This year, Xiaomi presents a new version of the GaN charger with a single USB-C port, upgraded to 67W power, maintaining a compact design, and keeping the price unchanged.

The unboxing experience of the new GaN 67W charger is reminiscent of its predecessor, the 65W charger, featuring a product image on the front and some information on the back. Following Xiaomi's tradition, users will receive a complimentary white USB-C charging cable with this product.

The included USB-C charging cable in the 67W version measures 1.5 meters, crafted from robust TPE plastic, with a maximum current intensity of 6A and a maximum power of 100W. This versatile cable is compatible with a wide range of devices, including laptops and tablets.

Xiaomi has redesigned the appearance of the new GaN 67W charger. Specifically, the 67W charger features a more rounded design, and the outer shell is made of glossy plastic instead of the matte finish on the 65W version. The overall dimensions of the charger are 32.2 x 32.2 x 50.3mm, with a weight of only 89.5 grams. These dimensions make it smaller and more convenient than the 65W charger, catering to those who need a compact, lightweight, and high-power charger.

Xiaomi utilizes the standard China/US plug, featuring a flat and fixed-pin design, distinct from the foldable pins on Xiaomi's 65W 1C1A charger.

Similar to the previously recalled GaN 65W charger, the 67W version will only be equipped with a single USB-C charging port with a maximum output power of 67W. This charger supports the common Power Delivery fast charging standard and Xiaomi's Turbo Charge standard. Thus, it facilitates fast charging for devices supporting PD and Xiaomi devices with Turbo Charge. Devices using other proprietary fast charging standards like Super VOOC or Super Charge will not be supported.

In terms of pricing, in the Chinese market, Xiaomi's GaN 67W charger is currently listed at 159 yuan, approximately over 500,000 VND.

During certain discount periods, users can acquire this charger for approximately 120-129 yuan, equivalent to around 450,000 VND. This pricing is reasonable for a high-power fast charger with a compact design, including a complimentary 1.5m USB-C charging cable, compatible with most electronic devices today.
